So far better than I expected
The reason they warn you on the remote cellular range it’s because it doesn’t have any. It’s basically a tool to walk up and not have to open the camera. My range is about 10 feet. It sucks for that purpose. Spend the money get something better. If you’re just using it for a camera and don’t need Wi-Fi capabilities over 50 feet then this is your baby. Outside of that the camera works goodNothing special here just another camera. Zero distance on Wi-Fi. If y’all need to give you a watch to turn on the Wi-Fi is beyond me. Pretty hokey. Go to the $200 level and don’t waste your time on this.

Great Solar Powered Security Camera
I've used this security camera for more than 2 weeks. This is a great solar security camera with all the functions you might ask for. The initial installation is easy, much less hassle than the wired ones. The associated App is available for both Android and Apple users. The interface in the app is very straight forward and user friendly. You get your hands on within minutes. The solar panel generates and stores more than enough power during the day, so no need to worry about the power level during nights at all.The camera provides very clear video quality. You can check for live feed anytime via your phone. For the fact that this is a solar powered camera, it does not support 24/7 continuous recording. But whenever the camera detects a movement, it starts recording. You can adjust the recording time from 10 seconds to up to 20 seconds. When there's no movement, the camera goes into sleep mode to save power. Personally, motion detection already does the job, I am fine that the camera can't record 24/7.Overall, I am satisfied with this camera, highly recommended.

Clarity is beyond unbelieveable
I like the clarity of the camera for both night and day.I like being able to control the camera to see up/down/left and right.I like the camera has an option to mount upside down and change the settings of the camera to see it correctly.I like how easy it was to connect the camera to the app.I like how easy it is to charge and has a Solar panel option to charge from an alternative option.I like that the mounting was simple and easy.I like that I can connect more than 1 camera to the app.I like that I can sign in on multiple devices to see the LIVE video, recorded video and still imagesI dislike it requires 2.4Gh ONLY option to connect to WiFi when my other devices use 5Ghz.I dislike camera does not come with micro SD cards incl.I dislike its difficult to open camera on/off & reset button rubber cover.I dislike there is NOT a step-by-step instructional video to connect and setup provided with manual. The "register" option, shown in the manual, does not work.OVERALL I give it a 4.5 out of 5 STARS

Great GoPro alternative
I purchased this camera to replace my old gopro hero 3 black that was starting to fail. Did some research and comparisons to the newer gopros and could not justify spending a couple hundred dollars for a camera that I only use a few times a year if that. So after some thought purchased the v50 pro. Unboxing I was impressed with all the accessories that the camera came with and that it came with two batteries and a dual battery charger. I have used the camera a few times since I purchased and I am happy with it and would recommend it to someone as a cheaper alternative compared to a gopro. I will have to say that I think the video quality of the gopro is a little better, more so with colors however I was not looking for professional videos. Just wanted to capture some good moments off roading. The battery life is great on the camera. I was able to capture a few hours of video off of both the batteries over the course of a day compared to just a little over an hour on one battery on my old gopro. I did notice that the sticky mounts that came with the camera are little loose when the camera is attached to them and cause the video to shake more. I tried a gopro mount I had laying around and the camera clipped in nice and tight and stopped the camera from shaking around. One thing I was highly spoiled with my gopro was the remote control. The remote that came with the v50 pro is a very basic remote. I wish it did have a light or lcd screen like the gopro remote had to show what mode the camera was in and if it was recording and to show battery life more importantly. I would have to say the remote is my biggest complain about the camera. I usually have my camera on my helmet so it is kind of a pain to start recording and to keep checking on battery life. Overall I am very pleased with the camera and maybe some newer accessories will be made that can be bought to make the camera even better down the road. If you don't want to shell out the money for a gopro I would recommend giving the v50 pro a shot. For the price it really is a great camera to capture some fun.

A great camera, easy to install and compatible wit
I bought this particular camera to provide security near our front door. My major criteria for this camera was that it must be compatible with Blue Iris, be wireless (not PoE) and have PTZ capability. Of course, this camera meets all those criteria.I have attached 4 pictures from the camera where I have mounted it. The first shows the normal view during the day at 1x zoom. The second picture is the same view, but at night with infrared. The third is at 1x showing a different angle. The fourth is at 4x.The installation of the camera went pretty well. I already had the CamHipro app installed on my iPad so it was easy for me to add this new camera to it. However, putting in the SD card wasn’t quite as easy. It requires a mini Phillips-head screwdriver to remove 3 screws in a plate on the side of the camera. Be careful in doing so. You could end up stripping a screw head and then you have a real problem. However, I was quite impressed with how the camera is mounted. It uses a plate that attaches to the wall or ceiling, using 3 screws. Then the camera just fits on that plate with a small Allen screw holding it. It’s much easier to attach the small plate to a surface than it is to hold the whole camera in place while dealing with the screws. Plus, if you ever need to temporarily dismount the camera, the one Allen screw is the only thing you will have to deal with. Other cameras of mine do not have that feature, so I appreciate it.Therefore, I am quite happy with this camera. So much so that I am giving it 5 stars. Plus, I haven’t even needed to contact Tech Support about it.I recommend this camera for anyone who wants a PTZ with 4x zoom. The quality of the view is top notch because it’s an optical zoom, and there are a lot of features you can take advantage of. To be frank, there are many more features than I really need, but this camera has the ones I was looking for at a decent price. Plus, it was one of the easiest to install of all my cameras.

Updated review of this camera
After I wrote the initial review about this camera having water intrusion and impairing the vision I was contacted by Anne a customer service representative and she wanted to correct this issue right away with another camera, as this was highly unusual for their camera. I received another camera in very short order and this camera has been nearly perfect for the price range the camera is in. I have not had any issue with water or moisture intrusion, so indeed it appears that it was a fluke and it happens anytime you have things that operate in harsh environments. The ONLY thing I believe could be better (again the price range plays a part) is the infrared range, it does really well as you can see in the photo in some environments, but does fall just a tiny bit short in total darkness at say 60 ft. What really natters here was the customer service, it was on par with the people that deal with the super high end camera, 10X what this one cost which was around $40.00. Anne fixed the problem and I would certainly purchase more of their products. Thank you Anne. The second photo is of the replacement camera, much, much better!!

GREAT Camera for the Price!
For the past several years I had been wanting to get an action camera, but not sure it was worth the cost, since I would be a casual user who wanted the camera for fun and leisure.Go pro cameras were quite expensive and I wasn’t sure I would use it enough to warrant spending that much money on one. While doing research for this type camera I came across the EK7000 Pro action camera priced under $75. I did not want to pay the high price for other brands and based on reviews and cost I thought this was the best solution for me. As it turned out this was the perfect camera for me!I LOVE this little camera!! I was amazed at the quality of the videos and the wide angle shots I was able to capture while driving in the mountains and at the beach. It has a touch screen and a great little remote control that makes capturing videos and pictures easy whether riding down the road or taking a walk. There were a bunch of accessories that came with the camera too, just haven’t figured out what they’re all for yet!Great camera, especially for a beginner!

It's worth every penny . . .
Don't think twice. This flash attachment is so versatile you'll squeeze every penny out of it even if you only use half it's features. I use a Nikon D-200 and before that a D-70. And, I own two (not one, but two) of these amazing flashes. I've used them in a variety of ways together: one on the camera while the other is in remote mode; both remotely triggered by the camera's flash; and finally - one of my favorites - both off camera using the Nikon SC-28 TTL Coiled Remote Cord (a 9 foot extension that attaches to the flash shoe on-camera for use instead of either the on-camera flash or the SB-800 being on-camera). I've found this helpful for eliminating the camera-based remote triggering flash, which often causes subjects to blink at the very moment the picture is taken. I might have it elevated above the camera on a light stand or, if in the field, just in my hand off to one side or another. But, back to the SB-800: I've never taken so many perfectly exposed flash pictures in my life. And, with the SB-800, I know that the possibilities are endless.

Picture perfect through snow, sleet and gloom or n
Although we've only had this camera for a couple of weeks, we've been able to test it in some pretty serious weather conditions. The first night we set it up, we left all the settings just like they came in the box. When we went to bed, a gently snow was falling and the temperature was 30 F. degrees. The camera identifies each picture with the current date, time and temperature. During the night the snow turned to rain and the temperature where the camera was set up dropped to 20 F. degrees. By morning,, the camera was covered with ice, but it was still taking pictures. For future use, we'll be adjusting the sensitivity to a higher setting, since over the course of the night, this little camera took just over 2,000 pictures. Snowflakes, were a definite trigger, and we had a lot of snowflake pictures. The last picture was taken just seconds before we turned the camera off.A memory card was included with the camera and we viewed the pictures on our computer via the provided USB connector. The pictures were taken in several different lighting conditions and each picture was clear. We are very impressed with this mightly little camera.
