This camera has been great. I took it to Africa, and the ease of use saved many awesome seems. The accessory package is comprehensive. The wrist band controller makes on the go filming simple.

HiI'm not very good at writing stuff up, but here is my attempt at writing a review on the Akaso V50 Pro.First off I am a complete beginner when it comes to 4K and 2.7K footage, which is why I had problems when I first started using the camera. The 4K and 2.7K footage looked OK on the camera but as soon as I put my SD card into my computer the footage became very jerky. It doesn't do it on any of the lower video resolutions just the 4K and 2.7K settings. I tried all the different settings on the camera but couldn't fix the problem, so I searched online and came across a video that said I might need a newer computer, so I did some searching for 4K system requirements and learned that my laptop is not capable of playing 4K and 2.7K footage, or I should say 4K and 2.7K H.264 codex, and the H.265 codex won't play properly on my computer. So if you are a newbie to 4K make sure your hardware and software can actually handle 4K.Now on to what I think of the camera, I think it's a pretty darn good little camera for the price.Thing I like about the camera1. It does everything I was looking for.2. The touch screen is nice.3. The controls are easy to use.4 The setting are easy to navigate5. The video quality is good6. The price is also goodThing I don't like about the camera1. Akaso did not give any PC system requirement in oder to view 4K footage which gave me problems as a newbie.2. When the camera is in the hard case and if you bring up the setup screen, you will find that you can NOT exit the setup screen without turning the camera off and then back on.3. There is no internal battery for saving your settings, every time you replace the batteries your General settings get rest, and yet somehow the video and photo settings don't get rest.I guess that's all I have to say about the camera for now.Oh, there is one more thing you should know, in order to take advantage of the 1 year warranty you need to register your camera at Akaso and you can only do that if you buy your camera through Amazon, you need a Amazon order number to register.

Just got the V50x. The camera is amazing. Have taken it snorkeling for an entire day and the water proof casing did great. Video quality is fantastic and the image stability works wonders. Great buy. Very satisfied.

Overall, this is a terrific camera. We own 4 Akaso Cameras, 3 of which are the V50 Pros. The color quality, audio and image stabilization are terrific. We use the V50Pros for Motorcycle riding purposes. Everyone is surprised by the quality. Can not say anything negative about the actual camera quality.The waterproof/protective case however, needs improvement. Our closure clip broke and we can not find a replacement case to purchase... Maybe Akaso can provide some guidance? It appears as the clips breaking are fairly common.We do not have the same issue on our other Akaso V50X, as it has a different case design and the weak portion of the closure clip on the case has been removed with a new clip design.This camera would have 5 stars if not for the case. Seems like there should be an easy fix to this issue...

Very durable and easy to use. Excellent picture quality.

Very easy to use. Image quality great for my mountain biking and downhill skiing adventures. Battery life was very short on my 10F skiing outing, but that was not unexpected for such a cold day. Battery was fine for my other warmer ski days. Definitely appreciate that they provided lots of attachment accessories, and second battery so I can quickly swap it out.

Great camera for budget. I did not want to spend big for go pro. I got camera for softball videos. So far so good. Video quality is really good the few times I've used. Easy to operate as well. Battery life seems good as well.

I purchased this camera a few months ago and have been highly impressed with it's quality and features. I really enjoy being able to record in 4k. It also has pretty good battery life.
