I bought this camera to take on vacation since I knew I was going to be spending a lot of time in the water. I tested it out in a pool before I left and the quality was great, but I really wanted to see how it would work in the ocean. Got back from vacation and this camera is Amazing! Picture quality is great and loved the pictures that came out while I was in the ocean. Very clear! For the price and quality, I am happy! I look forward to continue using this camera and capturing my aqua experiences.

I really like the waterproof case!! Now I can take pic or a video underwater like I always wanted. Also my first small camera now I can take anywhere and start doing small videos on cool and strange thing that you'll never know what you'll capture on your adventures!!

I have been using the camera for a couple weeks now while hiking and kayaking. So far it has worked really well, no issues around water or running or anything active. Nice that it comes with 2 batteries so you have one for back up and nice that it came with a bunch of little accessories. This is a great camera especially for the price!

We are preparing for a trip to Hawaii and I wanted an action cam to capture all of the activities that we have planned. It needed to capture 4K video, at least 16MP photos, be waterproof, and work with all types of accessories. I do a lot of research before buying a piece of equipment...especially electronics. I found the reviews on the Akaso V50 Pro (both on and off Amazon) were very good and decided to purchase it. I could not be happier. It is not intuitive to set up initially (especially if you have not worked with an action cam before) but not overly difficult either (especially if you read the directions and watch a couple of YouTube videos). The quality and features are very similar to the high end action cams at less than a third of the price (I compared usage with a friend's GoPro). This was especially true in my case where 1) I had never used an action cam before and was not sure how much I would use it after my trip and 2) I was taking it on vacation and, if it was lost or stolen, I would not be overly distraught (assuming I get the stored footage first). Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Orginally bought a cheaper camera by another company and had issues. So I returned it and purchased this camera hoping for better overall experience. So far it has been great. Video quality is great. Picture quality is great. Interface is easy to use. Included mounts are a bonus as well.

After a few days of use, I must say that the camera works pretty well. The touch screen is better than on the lower cost cameras and the UI is pretty simple. I mounted the camera on a speedboat. The EIS did a good job of stabilazing a video of my brother water skiing behind the boat. A basic selection of attachments come with the camera and a well built under water housing. The wrist band remote also works as expected.Overall, a recommended buy.
