I bought the Akasko V50 back in August and have used it off and on for about 5 months. The main reason I purchased is was to record our adventures in the pool. We've used it over a dozen times underwater to capture the family diving, swimming, sliding, and having fun in the pool. The camera has worked fine in the included waterproof case with no issues and captures quality videos and pictures. We've only tested it up to about 6' under water, and the case has held up to being thrown into the air and sinking down to the bottom of the pool.Due to it's small size I find that if I turn off the image stabilization it is really shaky so I leave it on all the time. The only negative I have is probably the ability to wirelessly move the movie files off of the camera via wifi, I tried using this method and it takes too long, not sure why but it's not worth the time so I end up just opening it to connect directly or pull the card out.I don't really have other action camera's to compare this too but for the price it is absolutely worth it as I spent 1/3rd the cost of a gopro and get similar results. This is the best value for my money to record our family when outdoors and the best part is even if I lose it some how it won't cost me much to replace it with another one. I sent ahead and add another star as this camera for the value is worth it compared to gopro.
