Used this a couple a times and have been pleased with the image and recording capability of this. I put this on people who were tubing behind a boat and worked fairly well.

Works as advertised. Seems to be a quality action camera for a fraction of the price of the gopro. The only downfall I've noticed thus far is it doesn't work well in low light conditions which shouldn't matter for what I purchased it for. (Snorkeling in st. Lucia)

Was looking for an action camera for my 13 yrs old daughter before her first school trip. After going through all the reviews in Amazon and other sites, zeroed down on Akaso V50 Pro. This camera looks good and my daughter is really happy after her initial trial videos. I am a semi professional photographer and looking at the video quality, I am thinking if using this camera myself for videos and occasionally still photos where carrying a DSLR is not necessary. The video image quality is good and comparable to my DSLR. I have tried image stabilization with full HD video and it looks good. Havent tried the 4K video so far but I am sure it will be great.

Nice high resolution and image stabilization. FYI, I noticed that when using EIS the video tends to be darker for anyone that was wondering - so you may need to add lighting. Lots of settings, suggest modifying to get the best picture.

I have a budding 11-yr old YouTuber that has been using our nice Canon DSLR to vlog. While I didn't want to stifle his artistic vision, I also wasn't thrilled with the idea of he and his gang of friends running around the neighborhood with such a nice (and fragile) camera. After doing a ton of research on budget class action cameras, I kept seeing the Akaso V50 Pro come up again and again, so I took a chance and ordered one. Our son LOVES it! I can confirm that like most other reviewers mention, video quality is great in normal to bright light situations, but in low light, it can get pretty noisy. Honestly, I kind of expected that for something in this price range and so small, and it seems like even the more expensive options of action cameras suffer from the same issues. I love the fact that he can shoot native 4k/30 video with image stabilization since he's not too smooth yet. Being able to tweak options for angle, white balance, etc. also give him access to those controls as he learns more about video production, while the built-in touch screen makes it super easy to get started quickly without knowing much. I also really appreciate the full range of accessories that came with the camera, as it gives him tons of mounting options right out of the box. Audio quality is fairly good, at least for the intended use where the camera is fairly near the operator, ex. with a selfie stick or gimbal. Most importantly, the camera seems durable enough to keep up with him and his friends, comes with a waterproof case which should be cool for an upcoming beach trip, and is not so expensive that I'd feel a huge loss if he lost or broke it. I highly recommend this camera if you're looking for a quality camera in the sub $150 range. Thanks!

If you are looking for a great all around action camera that records in native 4K, then this is it. I did not expect much for an inexpensive camera. My thoughts is I probably would only use it several times a year, and did not want to drop $350+ for a name brand action camera, but I did want one that would record in 4K at 30fps. It comes with a plethora of accessories, and works perfectly. The settings you have on this camera is endless. It does everything I need it to do and then some. Compared to video of the more expensive cameras, it looks identical. I am using a 128gb SD and it works great. Easy to format the card, and very intuitive. The cool part is it is compatible with a Lot of GoPro accessories. I researched these for quite some time before deciding on the V50 Pro. So glad I did. Don’t pass this deal up. For the money, you cannot beat it.

I like the image stabilization and the picture. I mounted the camera on my 16 road glide ultra, which shakes a lot at an idle. The camera did great. The only thing that I don't like is that when recording in 4K it breaks all the videos down to about 9 Mins. Contacted Akaso and they said it will break all the video recording down to a 4GB file size.

Picture quality is good,Battery time is great. Overall this camera is great.
