Excellent Value for an action cam
Excellent value for those looking for those looking for a good quality action camera that doesn't break the bank. This is my second Akaso, I started with the ek7000, which also functioned really well and was easy to use. I wanted something with better picture quality and stabilization, so I upgraded to the v50. I use this for hiking and biking. The image stabilization is good, the picture quality is nice in both 2k and 4k 30. The battery life on this is great one battery lasts for an entire 2.5 to 3.5 mile hike. The camera comes with a great number of accessories, including two batteries, which is great on a long day out and a water proof case. The camera has a solid good quality feel, the battery door is easy to open and is solid as well. The touch screen works nicely and is intuitive to use. So.. I'm really pleased with it's performance so far.Only cons on this are: the sound quality is not good without a mic. So I would recommend purchasing the AKASO V50X External Microphone as well. The other is the lens is not as tough as the ek7000, so I would recommend keeping in the plastic case while biking.

Great action camera
I did a lot of comparisons of this camera to many of the best budget cameras. I watched a lot of YouTube videos on the performance of the V 50 pro. The still images are amazing given the size of this camera. I have recorded video in 4K 30 FPS and in 1080P 60fps and get great quality and resolution in both. Love the ability to change the FOV. Remote control works well with this camera. Nice that the firmware is the most recent as I know there were issues with camera purchased prior to August 2018. EIS works as advertised. The touch screen was a big selling point for me and it has functioned flawlessly. The sound pickup by the mic was better than expected. All in all, I look forward to working with this camera and testing the full range of its capabilities.

Great Action Camera
Takes great videos and is very smooth with the EIS on. Color is nice and bright but not overexposed. Takes sharp pictures too. Camera is also heavier than others, feels really well built. Touch screen is very responsive and bright, back glass seems very thick. I have a few of these action cameras and I recommend this one over all the others.

Good quality camera
Very good camera. Much better quality than I was expecting. I just received it as a gift and so far, it's fantastic!

Great camera for the price!
I bought this for my son's Christmas. He loves it and it comes with many accessories for mounting. Easy touchscreen menu, wifi to transfer files and also comes with two batteries. The only con I can see thus far is that the wrist remote feels very cheap and the buttons have to be pushed very firmly to activate a control. I don't see the wrist remote lasting long at all. Upgrade this and it would be 5 stars based on everything yet get for the money.

Amazing Action Camera
This camera was for my son to use to film all of his fishing and crabbing adventures. He is now using it for everything. The camera is very well made and durable. The Picture and Video quality is amazing. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is the sound is not perfect. He has to remember to turn mic on. It would be nicer if sound was always on with the option to turn off. Maybe it is possible and we are missing it.

Nice camera for the money
I got this camera for Christmas and was surprised at what you get for the money. All of the accessories that come with it will be super helpful on all the outdoor activities is that I do. The app that goes along with this works well once you figure out how to use it. I'd suggest searching YouTube to figure out how to use the app.

Overall Great Camera
We bought this product to replace using my smartphone to take videos. So Far, it has performed very well and no complaints. The App on the phone would not connect to the WiFi but I turned off Mobile Data and then it seems to work fine.
