My son is so excited and loves the time lapse video option!!

Overall, a very good little action camera - perfect for time-lapse recording. This camera has excellent low-light recording capability for its price, and you have the ability to adjust the colors/lighting/exposure of the recording to be exactly the way you prefer. It also allows you to record time-lapse either as video or as individual images. The time-lapse setting range from 0.25 second frame intervals (which offers the video playback to be at 7.5x the original speed) to 60 second frame intervals (which offers the video playback to be 1800x the original speed). I prefer the 0.25 second frame interval for when I'm using it on road trips, which is higher than most of the action cameras I've looked at before buying this one (most cameras max out at 0.5 seconds or longer per frame).The only real complaints that I have are: the inability to change any of the settings without the use of a computer (so make sure the settings are exactly as you want them before using it, but you can store two different video settings and one photo setting), the video quality maxes out at 1080p 30fps and the photo quality maxes out at 2304x1536 pixels, although the quality of video at 1080p 30fps is as good as many cameras that are considerably more expensive, and the fact that all of the accessories have to be purchased separately (the accessories, which include, among other things, a mount for the windshield, come in a pack that costs as much as the camera itself).I've not really used it for anything other than time-lapse video, but the microphone works well when I tested it using real-time video recording.Bottom line is that this is a great little camera for time-lapse road trip video recording.

Video quality is great! Wish they had the option to do a time lapse recording longer than 5 minutes.

This is so fantastic, Its an upgrade to the EK7000 that I already have. I got this one for the Time Lapse Video. and it works perfectly. I love these cameras and can't wait to add more to the collection.

Picture and video quality seems very good. Battery life is not. I've tried to do time lapse video and the battery only lasts 2 1/2 to 3 hours. No battery charger. You have to charge in the phone. Going to try time lapse while plugged in and see how that works. This is my first action camera and the price point was great. It came with an extra battery and a lot of accessories that are extra on higher end cameras. If it had a charger and the battery life was longer I would have given it a 5.Edit: You can't do time lapse with camera plugged in without damaging the battery. If you take the battery out and plug in, it does't work.

This camera is perfect for doing time-lapse and slow-motion. We used it to ale video of a water bottle rocket launch, and the video quality was great. We’re looking forward to doing time-lapse storm photography in the spring.

I got this to get video footage for our farm and hatching eggs. The time-lapse feature is great.
