This is my second action camera to own- and it does not disappoint! Video quality is great, 4K looks tremendous and the sound quality is fine. I use it for playing with my kids on vacay and goofing off in the pool. Good accessories pack (really more than I need); but great attachments. Company is responsive and helpful if you need advice.

I cycle a lot. I was debating getting a GoPro but the price always made me not click the order the button. After reading the reviews about the AKASO V50 Pro, I decided to give this a try. The unit arrived quickly from Amazon and in addition to the camera, several accessories were included such as mounting adapters, clamps, etc.I cycle with this attached to my bike. the video footage is very good, especially the image stabilization. When I look down at the unit I see it vibrating and such but the video footage is smooth. I very impressed with the quality. The 6 axis stabilization seems to work like a charm.In addition to cycling, I have used the camera in the pool at the Venetian in Las Vegas. Using the included waterproof case, the unit performed very well; however, I did notice when taking it underwater, a few times the video record stopped. I assume this had to do with the water pressure and the external buttons (i.e. the pressure activated the button which stopped the recording). No water ever got into the unit. The still shots are meh. Nothing special but still nice that you can get a still photo.In short, the camera has performed very well for me. The touchscreen is nice but the screen itself is prone to scratches. I'm considering cutting down a phone screen protector and applying it to the screen - we'll see. The battery life is ok but nothing stellar. I can typically get 1 hour 30 minutes before it dies.Cheers...

Great little camera so far. Image quality is good and includes plenty of accessories. I love that the tripod thread on bottom is 1/4". I do wish it included a way to have better sound when in the waterproof case or that another case was available when not using the underwater. I'll be checking into that. Can't wait to see what my son videos on trips!

I like this camera. I bought it so when I go swimming I could use it. I also am gonna use it for airsoft and paintball.

After researching many similarly priced cameras, we chose this one because it had the features we wanted for underwater use--image stabilization and 60 fps in particular--at a good price. We took it on our Hawaii vacation and on many snorkeling trips with great success. We were a little apprehensive because some of the reviews said they had lower quality videos than expected, and even included some clips in their reviews. We have not experienced that at all. All of our underwater videos are clear and smooth. The only problem we had, not surprisingly, is the videos don't capture enough light underwater to video fish and turtles that aren't up close. And the wide screen perspective does make things a bit small (I think the camera has 3 view angles). Inside the waterproof case we found it easy to power on, switch between video and still, and even go through menus and playback. You are able to hear it beep underwater, which is good because you can't always see the screen (depending on light and glare) to know if it is recording or not. Sometimes we did find that pressing the record button in the waterproof case would result in a double-press, so it might start and stop immediately. But you can tell from the beep or the screen if that happens.The camera has other features we played with, such as time lapse video, time lapse still, and filters, but we really just appreciated the ease and quality of video and still pictures for our underwater excursions. It comes with many adapters, and I couldn't figure out what they were all for. The bar clamp is too small to fit the handlebar on my road bike. I could not figure out a way to strap it to my bike, either. Underwater, I didn't have a way to strap to my wrist or head. In the end, I made a leash using a coiled key ring leash and just held it in my hand. I'm glad I did that instead of buying a floating handle because holding it in my hand only required one hand for operation, instead of two. Just started to work with the camera. I am new to the "Action Camera" market/users. Bought it because we are going to the French Polynesian Islands in October. The camera seems to do what it is promoted to do. The quality seems good. One thing I noted is that the card does not lock in very well. I had to push it in as deep as possible with my finger nail. Once I did that is seems to be staying in place. When I first placed the card in it kept popping out and causing the camera to not record. THIS COULD USE SOME IMPROVEMENT!! THE MENU BUTTONS WITH THE CASE ON ARE A LITTLE CONFUSING, IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME TO GET IT RIGHT. (meanwhile missed shots)Glad that we have some time before our trip. A question: Is there any way you can activate the on and off button remotely other than with WiFi or Bluetooth? CAMERA NEEDS A WAY FOR THE USER TO SEE, VIA APP, THE IMAGES/VIDEO BEING TAKEN REMOTELY.Overall a good value with excellent picture quality so far.
