March 2019 UPDATED ReviewWhen I first bought this mic it was extremely quiet and had a background hiss. I messed around with it and tried out some different equipment and got it working. Now, with the right mixer, cables, and recording setup it sounds pretty all right. For the price, it is an excellent starter mic for podcasters. I'm gonna record more with it and see how it does. Just wanted to be sure to update.***Original Review*** 1/5Not A Great ExperienceI have a Behringer audio interface so when I wanted to upgrade mics I thought I'd get the same brand. It was pretty much dead on arrival. The first issue I had is that it is was very quiet. So quiet that I had to turn up my gain just to record some test audio. It has a constant layer of static over any recordings that even post audio effects can't remove entirely.I thought it was the cable so I got a new one. I thought it was something to do with the phantom power so I tried with it on (started with it off). Thought it was the interface so I swapped it out. Then I tried plugging it straight into my sound card. Nothing. It sounds the same no matter what (if my computer can even register it).Checking under the hood, it looks like some of the wire solders came loose. I'm gonna try getting it repaired. The individual parts seem pretty good so it stinks mine came damaged.

I figured gamers wouldn't put up with a drive that failed, so went with this as a back-up on my Mac. It was smaller than I anticipated - the physical size, not the capacity - but seems solidly built. I reformatted it with a disc utility and it's been solid and quiet ever since. That was a couple months ago.

Two Webex's and three Zoom meetings later, and this mic is holding its own against my rambling and meandering.There's a helpful volume knob, a mute capability, and even a capability to monitor the signal using a 3.5mm input. (Great for troubleshooting.)This is not high fidelity, but it's very good.It was hard to test the cardioid pattern, as I'm in a quiet location, but this may be enough to mask out -- just a little, not super dramatically -- the cat meowing in the next room.TIP Not appropriate for serious recording of music range use cases.

We went with this model for the smaller footprint. We had one of the old large models before. This thing is super quiet, very low noise compared to the loud pump sounds of the older models.The multiple needles really make a difference as well, producing a cup almost as rich and satisfying as my French press - IF you use a fine grind. A standard drip grind will still taste weak. It does well with pods of course, be ause they're a fine grind.Lastly, the fact that you can move the reservoir to the rear is very helpful, and the whole unit now fits perfectly where we intended it.

Update from an earlier review. After my mic stopped working the customer service team reached out to me to replace it with the newest model. I have used the new model a few times and everything seems to be working well. Great product for at home projects and videos to quiet the noise around you.

I'm using this drive to store .WAV versions of my music files. The drive is fast as it's attached to a USB 3.0 card in my desktop PC.The drive is quiet in its operation and does not get hot, although it will get a little warm. My only worry is how long it will last. I was not too please with previous WD drives as they ran too hot and seem to prematurely fail. For portability, it's very convenient. I use a Lacdo EVA Shockproof Carrying Travel case to protect the drive. I've not attempted drop testing, but I think the case is good enough to protect the drive.

Very easy to install. Couldn't ask for more options to unlock/lock my door. Code, fingerprint (up to 100 users), 5 keys, Alexa, mobile app and I just installed a new TV that interfaces with Alexa so I can tell my TV to lock or unlock. The mobile app will let you know who locked or unlocked the door using their code or fingerprint. Very quiet when moving the bolt. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the video doorbell does not (at this time I'm told) interface with the wireless bridge, it needs the hub. The door lock uses the bridge (my.model came with it) and not the hub. If the doorbell worked with the bridge, it would be the ideal set. Highly recommend this unit

I love it, its very discreet. I even turn off the chime so no one will know its there. I only wanted to auto lock feature and it works great for that. Very quiet too compared to the other brands I’ve tried. The app unlock is ok but having to press the button twice to unlock isn’t worth it.Be prepared and get some chisels before you get to putting it together and it will save you the headache. My plates were rubbing against each other too much and it wouldn’t work. A little chisel action and it works like butter.
