Camera is very small and easy to use.Software for editing is difficult and not well explained.

I had the GoPro Hero4 and all the upgrades in Hero5 are AWESOME!! Love that it is waterproof, the new software is awesome for editing, the online storage is key and the picture quality is incredible!

If you learn how to use the protune mode the camera will excell.Should in the lowest ISO possible for the best picture.We took the camera to Lapland and it worked 95% of the time at minus 25 Celsius and below. Occasionally I would have to warm the camera back up in my pocket.The battery life is 1-2 hours worth of video so I purchased an extra battery.The image stabilisation is pretty good and does make a big difference.I used nightlapse mode and was able to catch the northern lights, although I didn't use the right settings so they didnt turn out very well although if i had they would have looked good.Purchase a cheap accessories bundle off Amazon and it fit really well with all accessories.Overall very happy with the camera and Amazon's delivery was as quick as I expected.Can't fault Amazon at all, or the camera!The only thing I will say is that Go pro studio no longer exists and the software they've replaced it with is awful. You can't even use music of your choice, you have to select from their music. So consider that before buying it.

The editing is not as easy as you think. Other than that the camera is excellent. Quality is amazing. The stick is fantastic. Once you learn how to use the editing software you can create amazing video. Don't give up ! 10000 worth it !

great quality videos, the editing software is cumbersome IMO

Just a side note: the product comes with a slip that has a link to download a software suite for editing. This device is not compatible with that software. FYI.Other than that, the tripod isn't the most stable but the mic has a limited range of mobility that should suit most surfaces. As for sound quality, it does well to kick out a lot of ambient noise but to adjust absolutely anything I downloaded an audio editing software. Plenty of free ones that are easy to use.I basically don't know anything about microphones so this is good for me.

Barely used it and already love it. Picks up very minute detail and has a clear crisp sound. Need to test it further with editing/recording software.

Product performs as expected. Software could be better for editing but it gets the job done.
