Ok for the price?
Update 6/01/2019Origional camera was replaced free of charge, even shipping! Gotta love a company that stands behind their product. New one is working as expected now. I'm happy now, thanks!Update 3/15/2019After a couple of months use camera is now intermittent. Sometimes audio is recorded, sometimes not. Same day, same card, no batter change, some videos have audio, and some do not. Can’t figure out why. Also EIS seems not to be working any more. I’ve seen there is a gyro calibration file available, but can’t find it. No link on Akaso site. Maybe quality control issues? Not happy with it any more.*** first review ***Works well but 4K is useless enless you have a 4K TV, laptop or computer monitor. At first I took some videos in 4K but had to use a converter program to get them back to 1080. Videos taken at 1080 are fine and I am happy with the videos i have taken.

Fantastic for the price
Bought this for motovlogging. Very good video and sound. Some of the reviews here are being extremely critical. The Akaso mic that you have to buy if you want to use an external mic is only 10 dollars. Works great for me with mic setting at 60%.Worth the money for sure. Dont forget to buy a micro sd card though.Already very impressed. Got it to mount on my helmet with the included mounts. Probably an easier way with extras but I did with what I had. Great so far! I never have had a gopro so I was surprised by how small it is. Small but packs a punch for sure. 4k image stabilization under $200 is amazing.

Good for the price
So far, very please with this little guy. It comes with a ton of accessories, which was a nice bonus. The 2 batteries and included charging dock was super useful. The touch screen is very intuitive and easy to figure out. It takes really good quality pictures and videos for this price range. One of the mounts was a little bent and wouldn't tighten properly, but Amazon sent me a replacement right away. So props to their customer service.I was torn between this camera and the Yi Lite and after comparing both, my only gripe with the Akaso is that the wifi has to be turned on via the touchscreen each time you want to connect. So if the camera is in the waterproof housing, you have to open it up in order to turn on the wifi, connect your phone, then you can download images, change recording settings, etc. Whereas the Yi Lite can have it always on in the background, and you can connect your phone without having to take it out of the housing. Granted, this probably amounts to a minor drawback since I will probably never try to pair my phone underwater or adjust settings as I'm snowboarding. So in the end, the Akaso won out for me with all the included accessories and extras. The image color quality also seems to be more true in my opinion.

Unbeatable for the price!
I love this camera, and For the price you can’t beat it! Came with plenty of attachments and the video quality is actually really good! I definitely recommend getting better sticker mounts because the ones that come with it are not reliable. All around great purchase.

Excellent for the price.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the images and all the features of this little powerhouse. I used only 14 of the 20 MP resolution. Excellent number of mounts, clips and add-ons, including a waterproof case.It is certainly a contender with the GoPro for about one-third the cost.Picture quality is better than expected. That said, I have two relatively minor complaints. 1. The menu tree is exceedingly difficult to follow; not intuitive at all. The downloadable user manual helps, but best to write your own notes.2. The ONLY reason I bought this was for Time-Lapse Video. Although the camera is capable of this, it does not convert the individual photos into a video file. You have to do this yourself with your own software. I once had a Brinno camera and their time-lapse function is built in. Two photos and a video for you review.
