Decent price for good quality optics.I'd like to see two (minor) things improved in the future: the pouch (too big to carry around) and a cord for one of the lens covers (one is already attached to the body).Overall, happy with the monocular.

I bought this little camera to take diving in Costa Rica, I didn’t want to pay a ton to get an underwater camera I would only use a few times so I decided on this one. I was happily surprised by it!Pros: Decent picture quality, very good battery life, it’s very compact size fits into pockets, water proof case works well and is easy to undo, works great for diving in both video and photo mode. Seriously, I had no trouble videoing and photographing the entirety of my daily dives without needing to change the battery. No issues with it under water, no fogging or fritzing. Solid little camera and great bang for your buck. Would be even better if they sold a red lens cap for it.Cons: No physical instructions, they’re all online. While this is all well and good if you are smart enough to take it out while you have good internet….if you happen to unbox it without internet, you’re straight out of luck. There are approximately 50 different nobs and gadgets for attaching the camera to different things (helmets, chest, etc) and it’s a bit tricky to work it out on your own. This can lead to user error- ie the reason I lost my camera on the last day of my trip rafting the Pacuare river due to a clip coming undone. Thankfully I had already saved my diving pictures. So, be smart, set it up at home!Overall, I would totally buy this camera again as I had fewer issues with it than my in-laws did with their gopro. Even losing it on my trip it was still worth it.

Great camera, fantastic image quality, very versatile. Can be used as an upgrade from a digital compact or as a stand alone digital SLR. Not much to complain about, this is a great kit and the other reviews do it normally justice. I came back to SLR cameras after twenty years, and I am ecstatic about what this offers....go for it.However if I want to be critical I would mention the following issues:In Liveview mode (shooting pictures while using the screen at the back, not the viewfinder) the autofocus changes mode and it becomes very slow and erratic. In fact it behaves like my first generation autofocus SRL from the late eighties. I believe this could be solved in a better way and surely future generations of this camera will deal with this. So, if you are used to shoot via the screen and you come from a decent compact camera, you might be slightly annoyed. (focus through viewfinder is flawless, though).One more note if you are considering to use this camera as camcorder. I believe this camera cannot replace a camcorder, simple because the image stabilisation is not on the same level with good quality camcorders, and depending on the lens you might not have image stab at all, plus your depth of field can be quite small, which makes for nice looks, but often out of focus videos if you are not careful. (you cannot and should not use continuous autofocus in video mode because the focussing noise is recorded). So, great video quality if you are after high quality, artsy or "proper" videos. If you are after a simple to use video camera this it is not. Video here is more towards to prosumer end in some sense.

Great lens for a lot of things but definitely suffers from “coma” on stars when used for astro. Stopping down helps but defeats the purpose of buying a 1.8. Stars on attached pic are as sharp as I could manage with a 10X digital zoom on an EOS R

I ordered my lens on Friday evening and it arrived on Sunday with enough daylight left to go outside and play with it. The price could not be beat and everything needed to use it was included. I am a total newbie and do not regret my purchase at all!

I set this on top of my monitor - which is great. Also comes with a little tripod if that helps you. I particularly like the little lens cap that it comes with - I use it for a work computer and I like that I can physically cover it.

Since I only have sight in one eye, this single lens Polaris monocular works great! I am very happy with my purchase and waiting to observe my first cruise ship entering Boston harbor next season.

This is exactly what I needed. I have a toddler who is very active, and with the wide angle lens and remote pan/tilt, I can always make sure he is safe. Video and audio quality are excellent. Would highly recommend.
