I have at least 10 cameras currently deployed on our property. Bushnell, Moultrie, Wildgame, Browning_ and some off the peg cheap-oh stuff from the local hardware store. This is by far the best camera of the bunch. I am totally impressed. I put this one up in a situation with less than ideal lighting where the tree cover is heavy and when light gets in it tends to stream into a spot and not light the whole area. The pictures from this cam beat out everything else I have tried in that spot. Excellent day or night shots. I'll be ordering some more to replace some of the duds like my latest moultrie mistake. As far as the trigger this cam has taken 3X the pictures captured by other cams in the same spot. I suppose that means it trigger is better since I am not seeing any "blank" shots to speak of. I have no clue on the battery life yet because I only recently deployed it. It might be good but I just don't know yet.

Seems well built, worked well, and photo quality is good. I used it to find out what the heck was defecating in my yard all night, and now I know which cat to hate.

At $30 something dollars my hopes weren't high but I wanted a cheap camera for hunting public land. I am super impressed with this camera! It's about half the size of a normal trail camera and takes 4 AAs instead of the usual 8 which makes toting a few them around in the woods a little easier. One thing I was skeptical about was that there are no settings for sensitivity on the camera. Surprisingly, that hasn't been a problem! April and May tend to be our windy months here in Florida and despite periods of calm and then 20mph gusts with bushes and moss blowing, the camera only took pictures of animals or people. Regarding image quality, I only tried it on 2mb and not the 11mb option but the photos are certainly clear enough to make out animals and people. The timing options for between shots are either 3 secs or 15 secs. A 5 and 10 sec option would be nice but at this price point I can't nitpick. Overall, very impressed!

Surveillance (security) cameras, sadly, are an essential need for many homeowners who want to protect their property in these challenging times (even in great neighborhoods). Peace of mind is an insurance I am willing to invest in. This package of two wireless Rraycom (yes, it is two “r’s”) security cameras for under $100 with mounting hardware, color night vision, built-in spotlights with sensors, SD or (optional) cloud storage, and a beefy 12000 mAh battery (with a touted life of 3 -10 months depending on usage) is an exceptional value. I have two other wireless cameras that do the job and I had to pay extra for a solar light kit with sensor that doesn’t work nearly as good as this one and with lights NOT quite as bright as the ones built into the head of the Rraycom cameras. I mounted and unmounted the two cameras and positioned them in a test in different locations, in our front, back, and side yards. My goal was to really test the Wi-Fi since my other camera (a very well-reviewed and highly recommended BIG NAME brand) occasionally fails depending on distance from my hub. Both of these cameras, no matter where I mounted them around the yard and some distance from my hub are glitch-free. Like most security cameras, cloud storage is optional but will cost you, though a 3-days playback (which MAY be fine for most) is “FREE FOREVER” and $1.99 if you want the 30-days playback option. Even better (at least for my purposes and budget) the rubber door that protects the charging port, the power switch, and a 256-gb micro-SD port. I can’t imagine ever needing more than 32-gb as back-up, unless you are shooting home movies a of graduations, weddings, or birthdays in the backyard using your security cameras. I appreciate the rugged materials and the super-sensitive sensor that triggers a recording and also lights up where the camera faces. My only complaint, and it may be petty, is that the cameras are a bit heavy so it’s critical that you tighten the nut securely when you find that permanent mounting spot (I’m still searching for it!)
