I bought this webcam to help with my virtual teaching. My computer camera was very dark. I was shocked at how clear and crisp the video is when online!

The camera quality is pretty decent though the lighting could use a bit of work. My main issue with this webcam is the software it came with is currently not working on windows 10. From what I understand logitech is blaming Microsoft but they can at least give us an alternative solution.

At my desk where I do all the video conferences has a window in the back which caused me to look very dark on the camera. This ring light with a clipper is so easy to use! I clipped it on my monitor next to the webcam, and it gives me perfect result.

Not being computer savvy, I thought I would have trouble with setting up the camera. To my surprise it was extremely easy since all that was needed to be done was to put the attached cable of the webcam into a UBS port and attach the webcam to the top of my computer. When I opened my computer, a camera icon appeared. By clicking the icon the webcam immediately opened and my face appeared on my Windows screen. After a few adjustments to make sure my image was centered on the screen, the instillation was complete. The web cam works perfectly and is reasonably priced. Based on the functionality and cost, I give this product a 5 star review.

Great little webcam, has a way nicer picture than the built-in camera on my laptop! Fits atop my widescreen monitor very cleanly.

The Amcrest 1080P Webcam with Microphone and Privacy Cover lives up to Amcrest's brand for a quality camera at an affordable price point. My use of webcams has increased greatly in the last 3 months due to COVID-19 requiring me to work from home. As a project manager, I am constantly on Webex video calls. I average close to 3 hours per day of Webex conference calls. Previous to receiving my Amcrest webcam, I was using a 720P Microsoft LifeCam. Compared to my coworkers that were using antiquated/integrated laptop cameras, coworkers had always commented about how much better the video and audio quality was than theirs with my Microsoft camera.In order to do a thoroughly blind/unbiased test, I didn't tell any of my coworkers about upgrading my old Microsoft webcam for the Amcrest. However, it took no time at all for coworkers to mention how much clearer the video is on this camera. Additionally, the noise-cancelling feature on the webcam is extremely good as it cuts out lots of ambient noise that I have in the background at my home. As with most webcams today, this camera is truly plug & play (for Windows 10), even on a PC that is thoroughly locked down security-wise by my employer. As an IT professional, I really appreciate having the physical privacy cover (which I always have down when the camera is not in use) as well as the red/green LED indicators to easily tell when the camera is off/on.The webcam's field of view is excellent, and the light sensors/color saturation adjustments do a truly amazing job -- my coworkers often believe that I'm in a fully lit room/office, when in reality I'm in a pitch dark office with only my monitor screens as a light source! Finally, as opposed to my previous webcam's finicky mount, the Amcrest's beefy mount was easily/quickly adjusted to sit on my slim profile LED monitor and has been rock solid since I set it there. I don't have use for the 1/4" tripod mount, but can see how that might be useful for folks in scenarios outside of the office.

I originally bought the EK7000 to use on trail rides. The waterproof case worked well for me, as well as the video stability of the output. I use a 32GB microSD for my rides, and then do post processing.Once I started working from home full-time, I desperately needed a webcam. Fortunately, the EK7000 worked perfectly as well! I simply plugged in my camera to my computer, and I had a great video camera for my conference calls.
