This review for V50X was prompted by AKASO and has a reward which will not skew my opinion.The camera works well with a long battery life. The picture quality is good considering the tiny lens. I have many Nikon cameras and lenses of higher quality but this little camera is great for on the go movies. I am a retired software architect so i don't use their tablet or phone app as they usually fall short of expectation. I just put the card in my computer and use some good editing software. I don't require remote monitoring as I record.This camera is simple to use with a quality at price point that can't be beat. The software on the camera has a lot of features and works reasonably well and is simple to use.UPDATE 11/16/2020I received a reward from AKASO for my review. I have no problem with their public relation attention as it shows me they are trying to show customer service is their focus. And that is how they get the fifth star. I am suspicious of reviews and their authenticity across the board. Before ordering this camera I ordered one directly from GoPro based on their promotional price. They wanted to charge me tax on the non promotional price and then reduce that amount. That is not legal in my state and I told them so. They argued that their "Tax Team" agreed on that outcome. Law and common pricing decorum do not agree. I call it plain dishonest! I cancelled my order and went with AKASO. Lower cost and better customer care.
