So this is a “wildlife’” camera, The idea being that you strap it to a tree, post, fence etc and it discreetly and silently takes photographs and video recordings of anything that activates the motion detector during the night. Now if you have a garden that is regularly frequented by foxes or badges clearly this item is going to appeal, but for the rest of us this camera is less attractive. If you are lucky enough to live near some woods or park, you could still secure it in a discreet place and collect it in the morning, and just hope that no-one has found it and nicked it! There is a clasp on the camera casing so you can padlock is shut if you desire to deter would be thieves.Image quality is very good, and operation is relatively straightforward once you get the hang of it, I’m just slightly disappointed by two things: I think it’s a bit mean of the manufacturers not to include an SD card. At £75 I think they could’ve thrown a Card in? I’ve bought children’s toys that have included SD cards! Also eight batteries - ouch! OK, you can use rechargeable ones to reduce the operating costs if you wish, but I would’ve liked it if the manufacturers had built-in some USB rechargeable battery pack.I do like this item, but I think the target audience is limited. Unless you know for a fact you have family of hedgehogs visiting your garden every night there is little appeal to anyone else, but if you live in rural or country area you will get a lot out of this. The overalled build quality is very solid and it is undoubtedly a nice bit of kit.

Excellent quality images and easy to set up and use.

Cell transfer isn’t as clear of a image but when you download from camera it’s clear as day. Easy to set up, battery life is normal, just haven’t had it long enough to speak for durability yet. I’ve had for about 3 months

I use these to supplement my security cameras. The daytime pictures are great, the nighttime are marginal for what I need. If they were used for game pictures they would work fine. I've purchased these before and have gotten over 12,000 pictures on a set of batteries, yes, 12,000!How the new camera is as good

 Before this one I'd used 2 non-solar-powered trail camera models during winter and was very satisfied with their performance and weather-ability , and this new model is right up there with them in terms of quality and features. More features, actually.Menus are user-friendly, and solar powering of the unit's integrated internal battery is naturally an excellent feature. Using my iPad, I was able to retrieve pics from a distance (within sight and not through windows or walls). It isn't instantaneous as when browsing on the unit itself, but it's convenient.Pictures and video —nightime and daytime— are quite good, and one can tell the trigger-speed is fast.Recommended.

This is a great wildlife camera! It’s really easy to use, instructions are nice and simple. The picture quality is great. A lot better than I was expecting. Motion detection works really well. Very pleased with it. Good value for money.

I have 4 of these and two solar Micro links scattered across our 200 acre farm. Picture quality is good as you can see here. These are units are very easy to setup and use. I recommend running Lithium AA batteries in them for best results. I average about a month on lithium AA batteries. And they take a lot of pictures, thousands in some cases. Regular AA batteries just don't hold up. The solar ones come with a lithium battery pack. The solar units need to be out in the open for sure to get the best sun on them. My wish is they did video and were a higher resolution.My hold back on 5star is their image resolution and adjust ability. 10mp is good as long as you are not trying to zoom in on images. We have missed a few deer this year because of trigger speed as well. Finally, I have had them become very sensitive to movement and take bunches and bunches of pictures of nothing. Wish we could figure that out.
