Would be 5 star with better audio gain
Purchased the Akaso V50X to replace a GoPro. I couldn’t be more pleased with it. Image quality and stabilization are great. Battery life is decent and comparable to the GoPro. I would definitely recommend.

nice alternative compact video recorder to GoPro
Purchased as an additional for my GoPro Hero 4, was glad I did. Heading on trip for few weeks and was looking for small compact video recorder to capture family trip video. Have spent weeks looking at reviews and videos. Picture quality looks great, compatible with GoPro accessories is a plus. love ability Built-in Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) as I purchased a gimbal for GoPro video recording to get a stable video, and hope the EIS helps. may update review after my trip with this camera.

Works great.
Works great. Superb battery life (I gave up on the GoPro due to its poor battery life).Some image stabilization would be nice.

Great Image Stabilization
The Image Stabilization is great. The picture quality isn't GoPro quality, but for the price it 's good enough.

Who needs a gopro?
Does everything GoPro does at 1/3rd the cost. Stabilization and image quality are good. Excellent for the price.

Great quality (both video and audio) stabilizer li
Very good little camera! Image quality is very good even in relatively low light. Sound quality is surprisingly good as well. This makes a great camera for vlogers. I especially like the options of having three different vield of views. The image stabilization works really well. Just don't expect the same as the GoPro nor does it replace a gimbal. Important limitation is that you cannot use stabilizer in 4k resolution. Overall the camera is build well and stirdy. I think overall it's a great value! Much better than GoPro.

This gimbal works great on my GoPro 9. Image is very stable and looks like a professional shot it!
