I've been using my lights for a couple months now, mainly for my son's different holiday pictures which have been indoors. So no outdoor use yet since I haven't ventured into that with photography. I really love how you can set them up almost anywhere in an array of spots. They're easy to set up and take down in a reasonable amount of time (my husband managed to take them apart without my help, woo!). The light bulbs that come with them are really bright so I only used one stand, sometimes 2 in a really dark room to create an even light source. I really think diffusers or softer light bulbs would really help if you want to use these professionally (which are pretty much standard anyways). My son has knocked them over a few times and the bulbs held up just fine but it was the umbrellas that bent which was really surprising since the metal frame doesn't feel that cheap. The bags that are included are not great quality at all. They feel just like the pop up bins that go in cubed shelves. Which isn't that bad since the light bulbs are light enough for the bag and it won't rip, it's lined with silver material for a little cushion. I usually keep my stands and bulbs in the boxes they come in before using the bags, just in case. I don't take them anywhere often so I don't mind using them. If you're going to take then with you around a lot, I'd look into more secure equipment bags for the bulbs.

Most of the pics came out great a couple the film itself was scratched.

Awesome light kit!!! Well worth the price. I'm currently taking photography in college and thought this would help with some good lightening effects inside. Here are some pictures just before and after. I'll update my post when I get the real pictures delevoped in the dark room.

It's exactly as described. It's nothing fancy but it gets the job done.

Im a novice so not an expert at all, these are pretty great and do what they are supposed to do. I would like the lights to be a bit brighter but like I said, they get the job done!

Great product overall, I definetly was in need of some lighting for personal pictures and or video so decided to try these out. I received them very quickly ( quicker than expected). However, when I first received it one of the bulbs came in defective. I contacted the sellers and they resolved the issue right away. I received the replacement a few days later. I can say I'm pretty satisfied with the purchase other than 1 of my umbrellas rivet broke the second day of having it up. It still works but it broke, I guess you can say you get what you pay
