Very Nice Little Product!
For the price range, it is quite good. It has its own app that captures the video of the camera. The video quality is decent and what surprised me is that you can talk through the camera, you can literally yell at the app, and the camera will speak just like a cell phone, it requires a good internet connection tho.

Camera tech support
The cameras provide a clear picture and the app is easy to use to focus or move the camera. One of my cameras did malfunction after 3 years and I had to buy another one. Then another camera kept losing its wifi connection and tech support said its firmware needed to be updated. Had to call for tech support again because updating the firmware for these cameras is not easy for someone with just average computer skills. I first spoke to Rachel who was very patient and accessed my computer to update the camera. She spent about an hour with me to do this. She didn't have time to update the other two and gave me instructions on how to do it. Even with these limited instructions, I still was unable to do it and had to call for tech support again. This time I got Sarah who was able to update the other two cameras in about half the time. Each tech wanted me to make sure I write a review since I bought these cameras on amazon. Glad they're concerned about customer feedback.

Great camera for DIYers
Cameras like this are hard to find. If you don't want to depend on a company's cloud service and pay a monthly subscription fee, if you don't want to be forced to use a company's mobile app to set up a camera, if you want to store as much footage as you want to locally on your LAN, this is the camera for you. Price is also very reasonable.Setup is simple - plug the camera into your router via ethernet, find the IP address given to your camera, then navigate to that IP address in a web browser - there you can do all the setup. Give the camera a static IP address and port, then add a port forwarding record if you need to be able to view live streams from outside your LAN.I have my camera set up to send me an email with snapshots on motion detection, as well as upload a video clip to my local FTP server. That way the camera is not dependent on anyone's cloud, and aside from the email notifications, it still functions even with no internet as long as the LAN is still up and will still write video clips to the FTP server.

Great little camera
I have been using this camera for almost 2 months and im verry happy with it so far. I lile the matte black finish, makes the camera very unobtrusive I didnt have any problems setting up the WiFi and linking it to my main camera's. I do wosh it had 5g Wi-Fi but it still works great. I haven't had any issues with connections but i will say sometimes planing or tilting the camera can be a bit sporadic. Slide just a little bit on the screen and it will turn way to far, then other times slide a lot on the screen and it will only move a bit. I think bottons on the screen would work a lot better

Great Starter Camera
This is my second camera and I love it. It's a great value for the price. The controls are intuitive and set-up is straightforward. I got some great day and night shots on a wildlife feeder. I highly reccomend.

I was having issues on my end connecting this camera and called tech support. Frank G helped me get the camera up and running in no time!! Offers a great picture and captures video via motion.

Using as baby camera
I bought this to use as a baby monitor and I have it mounted on a GoPro mount on my baby's pack n play. The reason why I wanted to use this instead of a traditional baby camera it's because I want the option to turn off infrared night vision. The night vision is very good but that is also the problem for me. I don't know how dangerous the infrared would be to my infant's eyes . That is the main reason why I chose this camera. This camera allows it to be turned off. Overall I'm very satisfied with this camera the picture quality is great for 1080P and audio is great as well. The only downsides to this camera is it only doesn't do h265 encoding only h264.

Great camera system.
Purchased several of these for my beach house. I do not stay there year round so it’s nice to be able to check on the house and make sure there is no one in the house. Have a couple of the Amcrest outside cameras too. Perfect for times when hurricanes comes through. I can check in to make sure the house is still standing. Love the feature of being able to rotate the camera around to get different views of the house. Video quality is perfect. On the downside. I had a lot of problems setting the cameras up. Not sure why, but I had to call customer service to help me. He helped me set each and every camera up. Probably up to an hour. I purchased 6 cameras for the house. I would highly recommend this camera. Great customer service.
