First "expensive" headphone purchased. Wasn't disa
I had had enough of the flimsy $5 earbuds from Walmart that stop working after six months. I wanted to invest a little more money in sound quality, noise isolation, and especially comfort for long periods of use since I'm working from home. I also needed to have microphone and a bluetooth/wired option since I don't want the thing to give out right in the middle of a meeting if I forget to charge it. I spent a week researching different headsets and finally chose this one. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I've used this for several weeks--and even while I work out--and it stays on comfortably without me feeling like my head is in a vice. The sound quality is very good--though its bass is not great. (I only noticed this when I did a test to check its range.) Noise isolation is OK--it knocks out most of the lower frequencies but doesn't do too much but muffles higher frequencies like dogs yipping. Finally, the bluetooth connection is very good and I haven't had an issue with the connection dropping (something I've had problems with other bluetooth earbuds). Overall, I think this was a good purchase and investment.

WOW! WOW! WOW!
I am in AWE with this microphone. I have been singing for most of my 68 years on this planet. I ran a DJ/KJ gig6 nights a week in Myrtle Beach, SC in the mid 90's at a HOT little place called Harry The Hat off Lake Arrowhead Road.Hope it's still there - GREAT Place. Anyway I have always had a Shure SM58 and LOVE it - You can actually drive anail with an SM58. I don't know if you can do that with the XM8500 and I am not going to Try BUT the sound is just as niceas the Shure and at that price - HOW can you go wrong. I still do a little DJ/KJ and I still have my SM58. I used theXM8500 for guest singers last night and they loved it. I also use a Behringer PM1680S Power Mixer and LOVE that too - It Drives 2Little Electro Voice Zx1-90's - I did a large Firehouse hall with over 200 people and no one believed the soundwas coming from those little speakers - a couple of my old friends were looking behind the DJ table for larger speakers. All that said >THIS MIC IS A STEAL< Thank You Amazon & Behringer, DJ Kenny

Battery-charging case, full of features
This is a great headset for the price-point. It is an upgrade to previous similar models by this brand, because it now has charging in the case and added battery capacity in the case to recharge the headset. The headset is flexible in that it can be used on the right ear or left ear, and it comes with 3 different size ear-tips. It can be connected to two different Bluetooth devices (including android/iphone, etc.), and will automatically turn on and connect (if within range) when you take the headset out of the charging case. The case itself is charged by USB-C, it does not have wireless charging function. The case also has a battery percentage indicator, so that you can see how much battery capacity is left in the case before you need to charge it. In my usage tests, it takes about 16% to charge the headset, so you can get about 6 charges from a fully-charged case. Sound quality overall is good, you do have to angle the boom microphone pretty close to your mouth to get good-quality sound from your own voice (based on feedback from my colleagues).Disclaimer: I received this item at a discount in exchange for my unbiased product review; review was written after 3 weeks of testing on many business calls.

RADAR APPROVED!
This microphone performed better than I expected. I should not be surprised because I have several Comica products and I like them all. It has a low cut filter function to reduce the background frequencies and a +10db function that increases the sensitivity. For those who don't understand it makes it louder lol. It has a manual on-off switch so you have to remember to turn the mic on or you won't get any audio. The mic is powered by two triple-A batteries that are not included. It does come with a dead cat wind muff. Overall the mic sounds good to me. I have two Rode mics, a Movo and a Comica lav system as well as other mics. The Comica CVM-V30 PRO is a good mic and is not designed to compete with the Rode so it is not to compare. With that said it is a quality mic for the price and is great if you don't have the budget to spend hundreds of dollars. If I had any complaints it would be that it takes batteries and triple-A at that but since I already had rechargeable ones on hand it is not a problem. I would also prefer that the wire jack be detachable like the rode mic mini or the Movo but those are not big deals for me. I recommend checking this out if you want to capture good audio for an affordable price.

Not good for Streamers!!
So don't go off of my headline if you don't have a lot of background noise and you are okay with talking directly into a mic. I have a GOXLR and it has more than enough power to amplify this microphone. I spent many hours messing with Noise Gate and EQ settings watching different videos on exactly what needed to be changed to fix what I was having issues with and I could not make myself happy with the sound unless I was talking directly into the mic by this I mean within inches. The mic did pick up my voice from farther away but I had to add so much gain that it also picked up the wings of flies buzzing around (this was a joke) and the sound was not smooth or clear even after many many adjustments. I would not recommend this mic to people who want to game comfortably without a mic pressed up against their mouths so their chat can hear them. I hate to give this mic a bad review but no one else is talking about this issue because I am probably one of the very few people who actually care about this. This review is for those who would care.

COOL CAMERA FOR LOW COST
The media could not be loaded.
I will say, I do love this little camera! I'm using for my YouTube channel Chaos Entertainment (2 planets).Amazon needs to fix their uploading software! I had to reload the video! My family bought it for my bday present along with an accessory pack. It does not come with a memory card, but that was cheap. The batteries last a long time and come with two types of chargers, but mine seem to get pretty warm after a few minutes of use, I dont know if they are suppose to do that. The microphone is small and would have been better if it was pointing forward instead of to the side, it cant really pick up sound super well, but its still great!Installing your memory card is really simple, just push in with the label side facing you. the protective casing is really cool and come with an extra back door, but i cant seam to move the tiny pin to replace it. There is no instruction on that, but there are simple picture instructions for putting the camera on things like your bike, helmet, and other stuff. It comes in a cool case and is large enough to put extra equipment into it as well, little net area. it would be nice to be able to plug in a mic to it to get better sound

maintains sound quality at long range, great value
I've been using this headset daily for about a week, probably around 40 hours total use so far, and haven't had to recharge yet. Works great with my samsung tv; unfortunately the Playstation4 doesn't support bluetooth audio directly, but PS4 stereo sound through TV is great with no discernible lag.I work in a science lab with lots of loud instruments, usually >85db in the room. I had these on and it was like wearing earplugs, almost zero background noise with active noise cancellation on. In addition, the sound never wavered even when I was 20-30 feet from my desk/laptop on the other side of 2 sets of walls. Seriously considering getting a second pair to leave at the office.I've had 2 sets of zoom meetings using these, one in a quiet setting and one in a more active office setting, and in both cases the microphone was able to pick me up clearly and loudly without lag. I haven't tried the bass booster setting yet. The sound quality is really good for the price; these definitely aren't $1,500 Sennheisers, but if you've been going through disposable $20 earbuds for years you will notice the difference in quality. Hoping these last a while!

Not great for people who prefer wireless but still
I'm a little confused by the H3 and why Sony chose to release a wired only headset for $100 when the Pulse headset exists for the same price and offers wireless connectivity and a headphone jack for anyone who wants to use it. I guess they wanted to make a full lineup of these INZONE headsets and wanted something at the lower end of the pricing scheme. To be completely honest, this headset is definitely not a bad one, it's made by Sony and it sounds great and has support for PlayStation's Tempest audio technology, there aren't a ton of $100 headsets on the market that offer this (except for the Pulse headset). I think you have to look at this from the PC platform side of the equation, as INZONE is not just intended for PlayStation 4/5.I think that the one specific type of person that should get this headset is someone who prefers the simplicity and reliability of wired audio and would be likely to use a cable anyway. This also has a microphone quality advantage over the Pulse headset because it isn't using integrated microphones and has the dedicated flip down kind that is attached to an arm. Wireless headsets can fritz out on you and stop working after a few years, this one should last the lifetime of this console generation, if not longer thanks to it not being battery powered or relying on Bluetooth or 2.4GHz proprietary connections.
