This was a replacement lock. The previous one after a couple years kept dropping wifi and also had a mechanical issue where it wouldn't completely unlock ... long story but you needed a key to get in the house. SO the replacement was easy peasy to install. Completely fixed the mechanical issue. But the WIFI was brutal to reconfigure. (side note we have another one on the front door).WIFI is all done through the app for August so it kept trying to find a signal, I moved the hotspot 10 ft from the door, then it couldn't distinguish the back door from the front and then it renamed itself the front door instead of the back door within the app, (i've worked network configurations for 20 yrs so I have experience) so I would delete and blow away all the configurations within the app and reinstall then it would work but the front door wouldn't. IN THE END.. the back door works by bluetooth only not by WIFI. Which is fine for us but I spent hours trying to figure this out.

Economical Wi-Fi lightbulbs. Works excellently with Alexa and the Apple Store app which is free controls these bulbs perfectly highly recommend them. Right now using him outside for Garage illumination and I put them up prior to Christmas season and so far they’re working well

Upgraded to this when our last video monitor started to become unresponsive.

Love the camera. Seems to be high quality at this price point. Only negative is the internal MIC…..had to purchase external Mic to get audio.

We just did a big home renovation and part of it is making the entire house smart. We ultimately want to get Z-Wave switches to control locally with our hubitat, but that's a big investment(at $40 each), so we got a bunch of these to use for now and will slowly replace them over time.These have been working great so far, super easy to pair and they work really fast. We even set some of these up as 3-way switches, with automations where 1 switch actually controls the circuit and a second switch isn't connected to the circuit at all, but the 2 switches control each other. In most instances this would give a delay between the 2 switches, but there is no noticeable delay at all, which is awesome.They're clicky which it's nice, and they have a nice little light on the switch when they're off, that i really like. It's not too bright to be distracting, and helps you find the switch in the dark.The only real negative we've had so far is something happened that caused all of our switches to disconnect from the smart life app, but i went and re- paired them and it remembered which ones they were and i didn't have to do anything else (kept their names and automations).So overall, we have a dozen of these little wifi switches, and they are completely unbeatable for the price.

we use this nightly and love it, great product, love how it says the temperature in the room and can rotate silently, the picture quality is solid and the night vision is really great.only complaint is we find sometimes it messes with the wifi when it is on....not sure if thats a real thing or just something with our wifi...overall we really love it

I'm really happy with these switches and I ordered a bunch of them. The standard Smart Switch is the one on the right in my photos. Up front, the manufacturer has multiple generations of switch which are visibly NOT identical. The 3-way switch (pictured on left) does not have the same appearance. Functionally they both work great though.As for my review, the switches seem very well built and the instructions were actually quite detailed which was nice because wiring these was a bit different than how the original standard switch was used. No complicated electrical work was required though. A lot of reviews note issues with getting these to work on wifi, I originally had a small issue as well but easily worked through it. The biggest factor is that you MUST use a 2.4GHz network which is standard for most IoT Smart devices currently. Most networks should still support this as well but you need to ensure you're phone during configuration is also on that network. You also can use WPA2 with AES security but I DID find that having TKIP enabled didn't let my switch connect. As I was creating an SSID just for these I didn't mind turning it off, but that may be a common issue that isn't called out in the guide.I also did some advanced firewalling that may be useful to anyone so inclined or curious. These switches appear to only connect out to AWS addresses which was nice, was hoping it wouldn't all be going to China. They utilize tcp/443 (HTTPS) and tcp/8886 for normal operation and require tcp/2443 only when doing a firmware update. As long as you provide a DNS server, nothing else is needed for these switches.I have these added to the Smart Life app which works pretty well and looks graphically up to date (though I am working through a device "grouping" issue). I also have them integrated to Google Assistant and am loving the ability to ask Google to turn on the kitchen lights and - tada!I'm very happy with this purchase and will definitely continue to buy from the same manufacturer. The switches are well made and I like the direct wifi capability without needing a separate hub. Do note, they do take up some space in an electrical box. I had a tough fit getting two into a double gang box with the excess wire and wire nuts(the one pictured) but I managed.

For the price, I honestly was not expecting much. It takes very good video and OK audio. Phone app nice to help control camera.
