Oh, Oh, Oh....what a great little camera this is! I own a Sony HandyCam SR45 which cost in the area of 500.00, I have owned a JVC Everio as well ( 400.00 ) and they cannot come close to the picture that the Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 produces. For the money you are not getting a better product.There are several different modes, my favorite is HD mode. You get High Definition Video, something my Sony cannot do, even when the Pro 9000 is not in HD mode you still get a superior picture.For an example go hereQuickcam Pro 9000[...]Sony HandyCam [...]There are drawbacks in that it isn't that portable, you would need to be plugged into a laptop or desktop so it would be a little more difficult to do videos remotely than with one of the handhelds. But it is definitely do-able. Adjusting light and focus, etc is actually alot easier than with the Sony because it's all software driven and the interface is easily understood. Manual or Auto modes for different situations. Auto is not always the best option.Sound. Great microphone that produces 24 bit CD quality sound. Watch the volume setting if you're doing music, the mic is very sensitive and I have to keep my volume on the lowest setting before off or it will spike and distort. This isn't necessary for normal voice.Also, I record very close to the unit so the further away you are this problem goes away.Do not be afraid to buy this unit, it is the best unit they make and I'm sure that you will be blown away by it's capabilities.Tom Beaudreau

Camera is very well made. The fit and finish is precise and properly sealed for exterior applications. The night vision in color is superb, especially when the embedded extra bright LED lights are turned on.The adjustment controls are very comprehensive both in terms of image management as well as motion detection and alarm sensitivity. You can activate alarm notifications using both motion and or sound detection. And the motion sensitivity is adjustable.I installed three cameras under the eaves of our home. I had to run USB extension cords from the adapter to the cameras but that was a small price to pay not to have battery replacement duties on an ongoing basis.The ability to store videos on an SD card (not included) is a real bonus. This avoids having to subscribe to a "pricey" monthly plan in order to see past events. They do offer a plan if you want to easily download videos of events. However, you can download snapshots of events for free from camera to your phone pix library. A rough edge work around for downloading videos is to record a video during playback using one phone to playback and another phone to record from the screen of phone 1. I have found that for most needs, a picture of an event and a person/vehicle is all I need.The cameras are white so I decided to paint them a darker color to reduce obviousness. If you do, be sure and properly mask (I used blue painter's tape) both the front camera glass and the small hole that is used for the microphone on the bottom of the camera.

I’m not a gamer, but I’m loving this headset. There are probably some gaming specific features that I won’t be able to express an opinion on, but if you’re like me and just want an attractive headset that is comfortable and functions well for work calls, then keep reading.First of all, they’re just nice to look at. Much nicer than the no-frills standard black headsets that my work will provide me.The comfort of these is what surprised me the most. My other pair of over ear headphones are designed with athletes in mind, so they fit much tighter to avoid falling off, and because of this they get uncomfortable after a while. This headset is super padded, smooth, comfortable and has a lot of flexibility. I’m not sure if all gaming headsets are this comfortable, but it does make sense that they wouldn’t need to fit as tightly as athletic ones. What’s also nice is that the padding is smooth, so it doesn’t mess up my hair.Functionally this headset is great for meetings and calls. The fact that they are wired makes connectivity instant and fail proof. They muffle enough of the ambient - but sometimes rowdy - office noises so I can focus on the call. My coworkers also commented that I sound very clear and that the microphone actually doesn’t pick up all the background noise when it does get rowdy in the office. That was an unexpected bonus! The little volume knob is a nice convenience too.I may not be utilizing these to their fullest potential, but I’m really happy with them in the capacity that I do use them.

First pic is daytime and 2nd is almost dark. Really satisfied with the quality and clarity. Very easy to set up and share. I can see my front porch and backyard from my phone or my iPad. I am not the least bit satisfied with the length of time it takes to get a notification. My garage is about 100 feet from my back porch. My dad walked to the tree and was there at least 10 seconds before I got a notification. But if someone were to come from the alley, I would definitely be notified before they reached the porch. Then I could use the microphone to tell them to beat it or die. Lol. Overall, it’s a great set up and definitely a great price. I will be adding another camera soon to get the other side of the house next to the fence. If you’re looking for peace of mind and don’t want to run wires, I recommend these cameras.EDIT:UPDATE Am having issues with one camera. Won’t pick up motion. I walked my porch for several minutes, sat for 5 minutes, walked up to the camera and waved my arms and nothing. I emailed customer service and they didn’t mess around with all the troubleshooting nonsense and just asked for my order number so they could send a new camera. Awesome customer service!Sept 21 I received the new camera. Installed it today and it only took 7 seconds to sense motion and 3 seconds later I received the notification! Wonderful

This machine helps drown out external sounds so I sleep peacefully during the day. It has a microphone that senses nearby noise (if I move around or rustle things in the room), and it increases the sounds. I don't observe an increase in sound when I hear dogs barking outside (this when the machine is on and I am awake). --With the machine, however, I have not been awakened by barking dogs outside. I think it gives enough noise in the room to allow my sleeping brain to ignore whatever dog barking that may be occurring.I keep it on rain sounds. I figure consistency helps my brain know it's time to sleep when I turn on the machine with the sounds I sleep to. It does seem to help.As menitioned, I use the rainstorm sound track. I don't really like most of the other sounds, e.g., railway train, city, white noise, fire. I really hate the seagulls included with the ocean track (not all beaches have noisy seagulls). Brook is nice. I have had some sound apps on my phone that had better rainstorm sounds, but this machine provides better volume for me.This has worked for me for nearly a year now. I recall that the company called me back promptly when I had a question (which they answered in detail). I have read other reviewers state that they have excellent customer service.

While I originally wanted a braided cable pair, finding a set that wasn't cheap garbage became to much of a chore. So i ended up settling on these. Though the cord is rubber, it isn't the incredible thin gauge that I've had with most "frugal" headphones. Having few moving parts, the construction seems sturdy enough. They fit nice and snug with no movement while walking. I would give it a star downvote due to the 3.5mm jack being straight as opposed to the "L" I'm used to, but it is clearly photographed on the items' page so that was simply my bad for not noticing. The sound quality is nice for the price, although it seems sometimes that the bass is on the heavy side. Which seems strange because they are in-ear. I cannot attest to the functionality of the controls for anything other than music on a smartphone. On a 2011 smartphone (samsung galaxy centura 2) while playing music, all i could get the buttons to do was pause the track, regardless of number of presses on any button. I would readily admit this is more than likely attributed to the older phone. So, once again, I would not downvote it for this. Have not used the microphone at all so I cannot comment on it. So as the review headline states. Just buy them. If you are looking at these, you are in need of something like them, and they are a great buy for the price. The cost being what it is however, I fully expect them to last no more than a year or so just due to myself being a fool/clutz.

+ : Je cherchais un micro abordable avec un niveau de gamme moyen vu que je n'avais (et je n'ai toujours pas) pas les moyens de me procurer un Shure à plus de 350€...Et franchement je suis bluffé, la qualité est au rendez-vous, le son est relativement excellent, bien que nous restons sur un son très "podcast" donc assez grave, ceci dit c'est exactement ce que je recherchais.Je l'ai branché sur une carte son 2i2 scarlett 1st gen et il est fortement recommandé de le fixer sur une perche de microphone RODE PSA1 vu le poids du micro, un autre bras aurai du mal à le supporté je pense...- : Le seul bémol après un an d'utilisation régulière, c'est qu'il faut quand même rajouter un filtre anti pop malgré que le micro en soit déjà équipé, j'en ai pris un en forme demi cylindrique qui se fixe grâce à des élastique qui m'a couté moins de 10€ et depuis c'est le pied ultime! Bref, je suis ultra ravis!

This is a good quality mid-range webcam with lots of useful features, and a handy remote control to manage basic camera settings. Worked well for conference calls on my PC.What I liked:✔️ Overall performs as a good webcam. 60fps, good colour balance, clear sounding microphone.✔️ Very easy to setup; simply plug and play with its USB-A cable.✔️ Clamp attached securely to my monitor. Even whilst attached, camera can be repositioned without loosening the clamp.✔️ Physical privacy cover provides reassurance that camera really isn't viewing you✔️ It includes a remote control with functions: on/off, mute, pan/tilt, reset image, mirror flip, brightness up/down and zoom in/outWhat could be better:❌ The magnetic privacy cover. You can put it on the back of the camera when using it. But it's only a matter of time before I take it off and lose it. It would have been better to have had it attached to the camera somehow.❌ Remote control doesn't control the ring light. This seems like an oversight. Instead, you have to physically touch the camera to cycle through the three brightness modes❌ I didn't find the ring-light that effective; there was more light coming from my monitor screen which was also less dazzling to look at.Good to know:❗ Pan/Tilt is digital; the camera doesn't physically move whilst using these features. It simulates this by using the digital zoom to crop the video feed and move around within that frame.
