Fantastic speakers! Huge bass with complementing highs. Used the equalizer function on my sound card to really fine tune these. Great bang for the buck, highly recommend!!

Very nice bass quality. Hi's and Mid's sharp as ever on smaller speakers and low end rumbles on Sub-woofer. Very content with purchase.

The sepakers are small, so you won't get that thumping bass. But that's not the reason not to go for these speakers. I am a purist in terms of sound and I am wow'd with the precision of the speakers. Clear highs and Mids, acceptable bass. The sound output is enough to fill an average sized room, or best if close to the desktop level. Built quality is great. For my upgrade I would definitely go for it's big brother...

Great speakers! I stream Pandora off my computer all day and these sound great. Sound is true and the you can feel the bass. Totally recommend.

Sound is great after I tweaked my bass and treble on my phone. I downloaded an app from Google but it was too loud and had too much bass. If you have audio control on your phone, use it and it won't over feed your speakers.

Before I bought these speakers, I had a pair of $15 JBL speakers 2.0 ; they were good enough, but were never really that loud, and the bass was relatively non-existent. So I looked to upgrade to 2.1 speakers, and saw the large range of 2.1 speakers available for purchase. I bought these speakers in particular because it seemed like these were the only ones that were getting unanimously good (at least 4/5 stars) reviews. The only other speaker that I considered were the Klipsch pro-medias, but they were simply more expensive so I went for these instead.On my first impression, I'll just say that the subwoofer is definitely LARGE. I live in a college dorm, and it did fit under my desk, so for me it wasn't much of a problem. The setup was pretty easy and straightforward, and the cable length was not a problem.Onto the sound quality; (as a disclaimer, I am comparing these to a super cheap pair of speakers, but I do also own a pair of Sennheiser HD 380 headphones, take my review with a grain of salt). I listen to all types of music (some EDM, Dave Brubeck, Coldplay, the Beach Boys, John Williams...) and I am really enjoying these speakers; the sound is very clear, and the bass is/can be very powerful. One of the best features of these speakers is the adjustable Bass, so you can set the level to exactly to where you like it; This is particularly great when I listen to my EDM songs, as setting the bass a bit higher really brings out the life in the music. For most of my music however, I've found adjusting the bass to just below half to be perfecct, and compared to my old speakers, the subwoofer makes a HUGE difference in the way my music sounds (in an AWESOME-ly good way).So if you're looking to upgrade from an old set of speakers, GET THESE. The bass is clean and as powerful as you want it to be; the sound clarity is is good as it can get, and it's super easy to set up.
