Right I said box. This is exactly as I envisioned it. The joining on the pieces of faux wood are tight and well glued. Properly treated (ie no bathtub voyage or dropped to test resiliency) this should do the trick, holding the power charger for the devices that require a vampire fix (trickle charge) at night. It was easy to put together. I gently inserted the dividers into the slots on the top. (no hammer or weight lifting required) Next I checked the fit of the dividers to ensure they do not just pop up by gently turning it upside down (NOTE: I did this by holding the top over a table top from a height of 2 inches. After all I was not attempting to determine survivability of a divider.) I checked the interior to see if it will hold the USB power strip. Hot stuff it does. Does it close correctly as in the cords are not causing the top to be propped up. Yes, it does. The power cord for the strip goes through the hole without issues. Placing the devices, this is a tablet and several phones. Sue me everyone, in the house has one of these little dictators. (ie smart phones) The devices did not fall or drop and took the charge correctly. Ok, so the devices are not held tight like a smart phone in the clasp of a teen daughter (no I am not a misogynist, just the father of a bunch of empowered women) but they do not fall out or slide forward or back (yes I did level the table the box sits on). We are in business. All in all a good product.

A salesman asked me why I had chosen Bose speakers for a computer set up. I said because of "Bose". He said pay 10 dollars more and beat it. I said "How?" He told me about this Logitech system. I've had Logitech before. I liked it. I went ahead and bought this system. It is all he said and more. The range from high to ultra low is incredible. The sound is pure. (To me, but I'm old). It was a purchase well worth the price.

For 100$ (as of current) this will be the best deal you can find. Out of the box high and upper mid range sounded a bit strained but after a few hours of play it loosened up playing those same notes without a single flaw. They are easy to move from room to room as you please (I pair them with my pc or maybe an amazon alexa in a different room) the subwoofer gets window rattling loud, the controls are easy, and over all this is just simply the best deal you'll get at the price. I'm a bit of an audio phile but I hate putting in absurd ammounts of money to get good audio so I tested many different speaker systems at various places, these may not get quite as loud as a decked out Polk set up or out perform Bose; however, it is an affordable alternative. None of the sounds are muddied or distorted with exceptional clarity. My only gripe is that a remote would have been nice for these speakers, in the end it really isn't needed though. If you have the money get the 5.1 surround sound version of this do it, I couldn't afford the 230$ myself but it comes with two extra satalite speakers and a receiver with a remote. You won't regret it 0-0
