Bought these mainly for meditation to reduce traffic noise in the morning and people moving about the house. I can’t believe how good these work. It’s like I am sitting in the middle of the country it’s so quiet. Wow is all I can say.

Absolutely love this noise machine. We use the water type white noise function. The volume goes up pretty loud, enough for baby to hear over her screaming and calm down and it is also quiet enough for us to put on the bed while we sleep.

This Hard Drive is great. The enclosure build quality is great and you get very good speeds for a HDD. If you need super high speeds, obviously get an SSD. However, I purchased this drive for backups, photos, videos, and other large archival data purposes, so ~160 MB/s is plenty. The drive is whisper quiet compared to most other drives and you cannot hear it unless you are within a couple inches. While the price might not be the best, the performance and quality are excellent.Some people have had problems detecting the drive, but this can be easily fixed by logging in to an Administrator account on in Windows and searching "Create and format partitions". You will be able to see the disk here. The drive is formatted for Mac by default, but can be used in Windows and Linux if you delete the partition and reformat the drive (I formatted with NTFS since I use Windows and Linux). Note that you will first need to delete the existing partition using an Administrator session of Command Prompt. If you are unsure how to do this, there are many tutorials on how to do this using the "diskpart" command. Once the partition is deleted you can then format normally from the partition manager.I also appreciate that the drive comes with both USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB-A cables.

Installed this 3/4 hp garage door opener to replace an existing 1/2 hp system that was failing and was no longer allowing me to program remote openers. This chain drive opener has plenty of power for a single 2 car garage door and operates very quietly. I like the battery backup that came with the system which I did not have on the old one, and the pre-programmed remotes and outside opener keypad. If you are installing this system for a new home it probably would be very easy to do with tools generally available, but in my case I was replacing an old system and had to make modifications to the brackets that secure the chain arm to the wall. Just follow the installation instructions, step-by-step and you should be successful.

With a mask on, and sunglasses, the last thing you need is more wires. This guy is perfect for riding a bike with a helmet, hiking, photography, quiet enough for work, but loud enough to drown out everything. The battery on mine has never died, but I tend to keep it medium volume.

Its similar to the sound you get when using an led light with an incompatible switch or the sound of those old florescent tubes. So this might not be the best choice in a quiet bedroom. If quiet is important try the Wemo - it costs more but there's no buzz.2. If you don't want a night light you're out of luck. There's no way to turn off the little glowing circle on the switch, but I haven't seen that feature in switches from any other maker so this is more of an FYI than a con.

I bought this for my mothers home. I am mechanically inclined, however this can be done by even basic skill levels. Took me about a few hours to install at leasure pace. The instructions were very clear. Easy to read and include pictures! The unit itself has a few clever design features that I believe make the unit more sturdy. I love that it comes with battery back up, and a wall key pad. I have owned one of the quietest belt drives in the past. I was very surprised at how quiet this chain drive is. It's nearly silent! Also it has a feature built in that starts the unit slow, then fast through the lift then slows back down right before the full top. Over all I love it. My mother loves it and that ultimately is what truly matters.

Nothing bad except the noise cancellation. I that was okay, but i wish it could cancel out noise a little more... especially when i'm on a high school bus with a bunch of people who don't know what the word quiet means
