Great value for a great lightweight, clear and sharp projector. Especially during this pandemic, changing things up slightly makes even the mundane seem like a new adventure. We’ve had “drive-in movie nights” now in bed, on the back deck and even in the living room. The kids love this. We connect our Fire Stick directly into the HDMI which is powered by the USB and we’re ready to go. The speaker does distort at higher volume (no surprise given the compact size) so a sound bar or external speaker helps. Overall very happy with this purchase.

 I bought this for a fun movie night with the family for outdoors, at the cabin, in the garage, or in their rooms, since they don’t have TVs, and this projector did just that. It was easy to set up, it had clear display and we were able to watch netflix off our phone (screen mirror and via roku stick). It was a fun experience for the kids to have a bigger screen and lounge in the garage with friends. This is small enough to stick in your bag and bring to the cabin and not take a lot of room, and easy enough to use for a non tech savy person. I would recommend this item.

I rarely (if ever?) give five star reviews. To me a five star rating means the product could not be improved in any way. I have had this projector for two years now. It gets used at least once a month and has worked perfectly for what I have asked it to do. I have not asked it to project a 50' image on a wall dozens of feet away, it's just not going to do that. :) But for small scale meetings and presentations it has worked perfectly. The size is perfect (very portable), it's quiet... in short, I have not regretted this purchase.I've used it on a table top (with a mini tripod) or mounted on my full-sized camera tripod. I've used it with a number of different laptops and never had a configuration issue. It just works.If you need something brighter, you're probably going to have to go with a bigger (or at least a more expensive) model.Update 2018I have owned this projector now for four years (bought in October 2014, it's now September 2018, so close enough). It still gets used about once a month, and it continues to just work. The compromise for the size versus brightness and picture size for me is fine; I don't regret this purchase at all. Plus the fact that they're still selling it four years later should tell you something...

Original Review:Had high hopes for this. But, video cuts off multiple times, doesn't work with some input devices. Returned it asap.Update:Soon after I left a review, someone from Ugreen contacted me to send a replacement device. They sent me a product for no charge. Very happy with the customer service. I thought Ugreen was like other Chinese rebranding outfits that don't usually do any customer service. I m impressed with their service and would definitely purchase their products in future.For the product itself, the replacement one worked with my projector's vga input as it's HDMI input no longer works, but only if input Amazon Fire TV or Chromecast is plugged in directly. It doesn't work when I have my AVR in-between. The main thing is the design is better than other HDMI to VGA converters. All other converters have male HDMI and female VGA ports requiring to add an additional HDMI coupler and VGA cable to input to the projector. This is the only product to have female HDMI and Male VGA ports. I just wished it worked with an AVR in-between. I would have rated it 5 star had it worked.

While the festivities went well, the wind picked up flopping everything around in the evening come movie time.Solution? DIY Drive In!I setup the included white sheet screen onto my garage door and the projector itself on top of my truck.A quick hook up with the also included HDMI cable to my laptop and we were in streaming business.Kick back in the bed and enjoy the sights!The garage retained light coming in through my windows so it was not an ideal pitch black setup.Didn't matter though, projector brightness shined right on through lighting up the garage even slightly more, haha.The colors popped, the brightness was bright and the built in sound was loud.I measured my projected image to be about Seven feet (84 inches) with plenty of screen to spare.Honestly for the best movie experience use an external larger speaker (via the aux out).Though the built in one at max loudness (shown in my video) will drown out small talking.These little projectors just keep getting better and better and this one is definitely following that trend.

Hey just a Family man from Minnesota who was looking for an upgrade on my cheap $60 projector for the kids in the basement...It was very easy to set up and great picture the main thing was using the Keystone to set the correct angle on the screen which once you get used to it and start slowly adjusting one corner at a time it works perfectly then at one point we noticed a small back of dust or would look like a black dot to the right side of the screen so as instructed I use the tools provided to locate the center panel on the bottom underneath the sticker I cleaned the LCD screen and put the screw back in with the panel put it back up and it was a perfect picture these pictures I took were pre cleaning so if you do happen to see a small black spot towards the bottom right corner that is the speck of dust that was cleaned out and again it worked perfectly the screen that comes with it is decent just needs to get the wrinkles out as far as everything else quality of the picture the brightness I can have lights on downstairs now and the kids are playing watching their shows I would definitely recommend this projector for anyone who has an older one and considering of upgrading we are very happy we did..

I bought this because of the native 720p and 3800 lux, and was hoping to use it for home and business/educational presentations...For home it's great as a portable, "movie night" projector, but for business (at least for my hopes) it's unusable.*Pros: The picture quality and brightness are great, and it can be used in a dimly lit room for videos. No issues with video connecting it with VGA or HDMI on Linux... I like that it has picture quality options like contrast, brightness, sharpness etc. The main on-screen menu is easy to use.Their customer service was also very responsive to my questions and concerns.*Cons: It handles pictures from the USB stick poorly. I was hoping to use it like a simple slide projector to do presentations, but the remote > buttons do not work to go from Previous to Next picture, like you would expect... you have to use the on-screen menu, which covers up about 20% of the picture when it's on... and then it goes into autoplay mode each time it's used... it's very annoying and frustrating. So it's unsuitable for a simple business or educational slide-show presentation where you just want to pause the autoplay and use the > buttons on the remote as you're speaking and have your pics flow with your presentation, or
