The reviews were pretty much all over the place -- with most that discussed RSSI seemed negative. But thought I'd give it a try before I return the Ring Video Doorbell. After a quick and easy setup, the RSSI went from -68 to -34. HUGE improvement and now the doorbell is actually useful.

Good buy
This was a great purchase. It helped me because I have several ring devices and I do not have a wired doorbell. I like to be able to swap my batteries out as they are becoming low.

Annual Subscription Fee Required for Full Use
The Ring doorbell is a great addition to my home security. I wish I had known about the yearly subscription for the video prior to my purchase.

Great addition to your door
I was gifted the ring 3 doorbell, my home is not hard wired with a doorbell so if someone was at my front door ringing my doorbell and I wasn’t home others in my home would never know because the notifications would come to my cellphone. This chime allows the doorbell to ring in the home when the button is pushed. It was very easy to install, I just followed instructions that came with in the package. it easily connected to the Wi-Fi and plug it right into electrical outlet is also added security feature to your home because it has a night light on it.Very good purchase. I recommend it to anyone who has the ring doorbell so that you can have in home notifications as well as your cell phone notifications.

Good product
This chime works well with my Ring Wired doorbell. I have installed in my kitchen on the main level. All the notifications are loud enough to where I can hear it all over the house, from the basement to the third floor. I *may* get a second one for upstairs, to be determined.

Essential if you don't have a wired doorbell.
This is exactly what is needed if you don't have a doorbell wired to the Ring Doorbell. Without it, you have no way, other than your phone, to tell if someone is pressing the doorbell. Another huge benefit is that my wi-fi is expanded. Prior to installing the Chime Pro, the signal was borderline.

Really like this camera
This camera has excellent video quality, great night vision, much better quality than the Ring Doorbell. Cord is super long. Great choice...

Happy customer
I didn’t want to spend a lot on either the Ring brand video doorbell or have a monthly subscription. This works well and comes with the two way mic.
