Easy set up and control from your phone. We have these on lamps and water heater. It's nice to have lights come on before you wander through the house fumbling for switches.

Setup: I have found Ring devices to be very easy to set-up, this camera was no exception. Just charge up the battery and follow the typical Ring install steps. Then if you want, you can go to its device settings to make custom changes. The defaults will be all you need most of the time.Durability: It has been mounted outside in 105 F weather and endured a couple of rain showers for about a month. So far it has been very reliable.Functional: I have it mounted about 75 yards from the house pointed at the front driveway entry. It detects all cars entering the property, it is far from the street so false detections are not an issue. I have it setup to ring the Ring chimes and send a notice to our phones so we are aware of all property entries. The motioned triggered video starts a second or two before the trigger so that a moving object is captured in the video review. I also purchased the solar panel to keep its rechargeable battery full. The panel took two weeks to arrive, but the cameras battery never fell below 80%. Now with the panel inlace its always fully charged. The Ring app gives you feedback on the battery condition and WiFi signal strength. Issues: I have it mounted low on a wooden post. Its mounting mechanism and plastic construction would make it easy to break off the post and steal, fortunately its small size and black color makes it unnoticeable against the wooden mounting post. I plan on purchasing more Ring cameras to place around my property to complement other non-ring cameras already inlace.

Just ordered this product and love the colors! Easy to set up with two different length screws to help ensure it fits your handles. I had to use the larger of the two for the placement location on my bicycle. Highly recommend this product!!

Really easy to get set up with. We got amazing views of the moon and were able to take photos with our phone. Great detail in the lenses. Worth the price, we are very happy with it!
