Motion detection is great
Use these for when I need to get up to pee at night. I have them on motion detection so they don't constantly drain my power. They have been working well for 3 months so far.

Motion detection is inconsistent
Generally, they are ok for the money. There were a couple instances where we were walking or driving within the camera field, and the motion was not registered by the cameras. That is a little distressing - what else are the cameras missing?The hourly enable picture capture does not show up in the clip file until another motion is detected and recorded. So that feature is not helpful at all. The night vision is just ok. Day vision is pretty good. It would help if there were clearer instructions on hanging the cameras - rotating 90 degrees shows a different view.If we hadn't put the screws in the aluminum, I would consider returning them.

What motion detection?
Purchased to rebroadcast wifi closer to an outdoor cam. Works well. But not sure what motion detection it is supposed to have. It does the job. Getting a second one.

Not great at motion detection
I've had my eye on these for a few weeks, finally bought the 5 pack. Easy to set up and install. Have one mounted above one of our 3 garage doors, covering the entire driveway and the other doors. Can see the driveway to the street. It is not picking up any motion in the driveway, or in the garage furthest from it, which is only less than 20 feet away. I can pull in and out of that garage with my car and it doesn't detect it at all. FedEx pulled in the driveway and delivered a package, didn't detect the van, the guy, or the package. This is why I got the cameras, to detect things outside my house, specifically my driveway area.It also seems to trigger the recordings a good 10+ seconds after motion happens. Wish it was more immediate. (FedEx was in my driveway for over a minute as I saw them.) It has picked up cars in my driveway but by the time it records the clip, the vehicle is already there and the driver has gotten out of the car. So if you're trying to see who it is, if they're fast enough, it won't capture it. Kinda defeats the point....

Motion detection is accurate
Performs as advertised. Light is soft, not bright.

The motion detection is great!
I like the motion detection setting to light up a dark closet when you open the door and also under cabinets in the kitchen!

PIR Motion Detection
Working fine so far, having problem with camera picking up vehicles entering driveway. Changed PIR sensitivity still won't pick up?
