This book is perfect for somebody with little to no prior knowledge of astronomy. It's written in a short and simple to understand format and is very realistic for the first time telescope user. Other books make things more complicated than they need to be. The author started in the hobby himself with a telescope that cost under $14 so anyone can enjoy looking at the stars with a small budget with the help of this book!

This is a very easy telescope to use. I leave it assembled in my living room in case I want to see the sky. Actually this is the first astronomy telescope that I've ever bought. I was thinking to buy an elementary one, and then upgrade after needed. However, this is nice enough for me to use for a long time. I can see the moon with details, and the phone fixture really help me take picture from the telescope. I usually have a thread that connect the phone to the rack, in case the fixture looses, the phone won't drop. There is a mini telescope attaches to the main part. It helps, but note that the direction will be upside down left-right opposite.My needs are not for professional. Just watch the night sky in my balcony or take it out when having party with friends. The carrying bag is good. I think it worth the price. Good for beginners.

Through open-ended questions and critical thinking “Wonder Why?” sections, a child can investigate astronomy in a mature way. The colors in this book are vibrant and the illustrations are worth taking a long looks at them. There are 15 chapters along with an introduction to astronomy section and a conclusion and glossary to support the child’s studies.
