Very good picture and video quality but it sucks up batteries.
First and foremost this trail cam performs very well and has very good picture and video quality. If you consider the price they are great. I have a few trail cams Browning and Stealthcam. This is on par with the Browning Strike Force and much better than the older Stelthcam STC-12. I love the available features for length and quality of videos. The biggest issue is the drain on non-lithium batteries. I live in the middle of nowhere and the little town nearest me doesn't sell any lithium batteries so I had to substitute with alkaline. I also tried newly recharged Amazon Basics rechargeables and it wouldn't power up. I use those in all my other trail cams without issue and get a thousand videos per charge. The alkaline batteries have lasted about 400, 30 second videos, combined night and day and began to fail (night time videos shortened). I'll be picking up lithium batteries as soon as I can, test it out and update the review. I was considering buying a few more of these but if the lithium batteries don't make a dramatic improvement battery life is a too big a deterrent for me.
