You're not going to find a better deal. A lot of other "4K" cameras don't have native 4k and upscale instead, which means poorer quality. This camera has it all - truly. There's no need to go off and buy some crazy expensive action camera from some other overrated name brand (even professionals).

Where I teach we have had other action cameras for some years now. They fulfill the job of allowing students to make creative media products and they allow the recording of events. They are much used and loved. This came along as a sample from the Vine scheme and it's been put through its paces this summer. Unlike many action cameras it's not square and blocky. While that design obviously has its attractions this camera looks like a real camera. At least it does to me, but then I'm older. But it's also easier to hold, and at that point almost a pity there's no viewfinder (Yes I know there's add-ons and you could knock something up!) because it would make a very compact, high quality video camera; but that's not fair because that's not what it's designed for.This is an action camera and is made to be attached, probably, to something that is involved in the action. Ours has seen action attached to teenagers skateboarding, cycling, iceskating. In all these it was fastened to a helmet. It's also been attached to motorcycles to record runs.It has 2K (1080p) and 4K recording. On appropriate rquipment the difference in the detail is noticable, although mainly on more static shots. On sequences with a lot of motion, motion blur and the fact that at 4K you are limited to 30FPS reduces the effect. Despite this, if you have access to the equipment, 4K looks better on a bigger screen - especially a projector. If you are shooting at 2K you have access to much higher frame rates 60+ which you can slow down to highligh action without introducing judder.Image stabilisation works well, although I tend to switch it off as it can destroys fine detail - something they all do - especially apprent at 4K.Battery life is good, although we didn't leave it for too long. It's not worth the camera dying mid shot - especially on a long take, so it was kept topped up with external battery packs.On the whole in our situation it worked pretty well at a reduced price compared to the brand leader. Recommened. Hope this helps.

Great revenge movie with a twist where the hero is actually a villain, but he is losing his mind. Great action movie!

overall this is a lightweight action camera that I figured I could and afford to damage and or lose if things went wrong with my kayaking. This is now my go to for kayaking. It has great video and long battery life at 1080/60. I am not shooting in 4k, I see no point and want my battery to last more than 20 minutes. I get about 90 min on a charge shooting 1080/60. It fits all 2 lug/3 lug mounts that other action cameras use. if you are new to action cameras, or just want a camera that you can be a little less than careful for this is a great choice.The downsides are minimal. The battery door is a bit hard to open and feels like it could break if opened too forcefully. The zoom action is a bit slow, but I have learned to deal with that.

Got it on time for the holidays. I haven't used it in any action yet, but it seems to work fine. Will update after actually using it in action. Stay tuned...

Ordered this product for my traveling abroad and took the first pic of the warranty and look how clear and awesome it is. The picture quality is incredible, cannot wait to take it on the road tomorrow and see what this thing can do! Battery life looks like it will be all good! Definitely recommend for the price point

 If you are a professional videographer or content creator who wants to create aspirational content, this is a great camera for you.We have been experimenting with 360 cameras in photographing action scenes. The RS 1-inch 360 has dual 1-inch CMOS sensors and offers 6K@30fps. The image quality is better than any other 360 cameras I have ever used. The low light performance is awesome. This camera could change in a big way the look on how action scenes are photographed in motion pictures.I also realized that the RS 1-inch 360 is compatible with Matterport. I am going to try it out for my real estate clients and add more feedback later.

This is my first experience with action cameras.I have been having some problems with changing camera settings (I.E. changing from 4K to 1080). And under standing what some features do. But time and experimenting different setting with help. I mounted the camera to the front of bike (front forks has suspension) and the picture stability is very good.Note: battery life is about 90 minutes.
