Good quality for the price
Good quality for the price. You might not be able to see a planet close up but you can see more stars in the sky than with the unaided eye alone inside a city. A tripod is recommend to help reduce shaking.

Perfect starter telescope
We brought this telescope as a gift for our 6 & 8 yr old boys. It has everything you need for a starter telescope. It is easy to use, and a great way to engage kids in family time. No one minds being cold when they can see so many stars and even glimpse a planet. We love the ability to take photos with the iPhone, so when our younger son has trouble adjusting the lens to see what we see, we can snap a photo and show him, We just wish it came with a carrying bag. I anticipate we'll bring it on camping trips one day soon!

Beautiful luminous planet for a night light
Love this. I especially love that it is totally self contained with a long lasting battery. It has multiple colors on the (very solid) "moon" sphere, something like Jupiter. The lights are programmable to shift colors by jumping or fading (my favorite) and it cycles through a wide range of colors. A literally "other worldly" decoration that looks very Zen sitting in its minimalist wood cradle when off, or showing lovely colors at night. The charging indicator light is valuable, and it's a durable very well built well designed device. It has a nice touch that there is a sensitive touch point on the bottom you can use to control it just by tapping with your finger if you lose the remote.

Excellent telescope; easy to learn, wonderful to h
This telescope is very easy to learn how to use. We were happy to quickly capture the moon just a few minutes after we set it up for the first time. We were also very excited to be able to spot and track Jupiter and Saturn too! We could even see the colors of Jupiter and the ring of Saturn! They are both small, but we could clearly see them.Before purchasing this telescope, our family knew very little about astronomy. It's neat to expand our learning! We are also appreciating the seasons a lot more because our view through the telescope changes as the seasons change. The dark days of winter give us a lot of extra time for star/planet-gazing! Summer brings new things to see in the sky and later bedtimes for the kids, an enjoyable perk of owning a telescope and studying the sky!

Intergalactic Planetary
Really cool effect....Different settings and remote are nice...Would be nice if came with option to hang and 1 remote to control multiple planets with a different color for each planet.....Would love to create an entire galaxy on home theater ceiling.

Amazing
My husband is a disabled veteran and has developed yearning to learn more about galaxies planets stars. Also looking forward to hopefully seeing the Christmas which is suppose to be visible this December when two planet make a certain alignment

Beautiful, cosmic planet with fantastic detail!
It is a wonderful product. My daughter loves it. It looks so cosmic and beautiful. The details are spectacular. The only wish is that it would last through the night. It into lasts I want to say about 4 hours. She uses it as a night light so if she wakes up in the middle of the night she asks us to turn on the light because it got dark.Good customer service. The guest one we received was defective and blinked randomly and couldn't keep a color. They sent a replacement one and it works perfectly. Lovely!

simple and efficient This is perfect for the purpose i need. My grandson is only in the other room sleeping, not on another planet so I didn't want a high priced monitor with all the "bells and whistles"
