Bought it - returned it. It could focus at center but not top or bottom. Customer Service stinks!

Very nice overall
Projector came as advertised, all parts included. I failed to see where batteries were not included so I have not been able to use the remote yet. As other reviews have stated, the brightness is limited in its capacity to put out a nice picture quality unless it is very dark in the room. I included a picture with a lamp on in the room. There seems to be some lag in audio when connected via HMDI to laptop that is not there when solely using the laptop, and the lag remains even when using an external speaker. You will want to use an external speaker to override the fan noise, which isn't too loud, but will dampen the sound if you are trying to listen out of the unit alone. Overall it has been a wonderful addition to the play room and for my purposes of watching movies/shows at night it works very well. For the price point I presume you really can't beat it. Only thing I wish was improved that was unexpected would be the intermittent audio lag.

With a good image quality
With a good image qualityIt's like being in the cinema but without moving from home.I put the video projector about 2 m from my white wall in a dark room and see it completely dark for a better resultHdmi, av cables, power cable, user manual and remote control providedCan be carried easily to friends or family to watch a match, movie, photos or holiday video or for viewing a wedding via phone or tablet (cable not provided).This camera offers a beautiful brightness, easy adjustment for a beautiful quality without blur thanks to the glass lensIt does not snore like some, bearable fan noise and does not heat up.There is ceiling mount, it will definitely be my next purchase.Possibility to play video games or connect the hard drive alsoEasy and intuitive connectionA significant gain of spaceRemember to connect a speaker for a better soundI'm sure it can also be used as a cinema screen in the open as long as you invite the neighbors.

Pleasantly surprised
The media could not be loaded.
This is the first experience I have had with a Bluetooth and towards the higher end. The Bluetooth option works wonderful and is extremely easy to connect with device. I use it more for streaming (YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc). This is fantastic for gaming as well. I noticed that the best picture quality seems to be in purple (or black lighting). The picture is still good in dim and bright lighting (maybe not outdoors at mid-day). I would suggest pairing with a firming platform tripod since it is on the heavier side it can wobble on a flimsier stand. The sound is great for a bedroom. Have not tested in a larger space like a living room, but I’m sure it would have a decent sound. Probably the only downside (as with many projectors), is the fan sound. However, I wouldn’t say it’s a deal breaker. If you’re tuned into whatever you’re doing it is easy to forget about. Over all, a great higher end, entry level projector. Would recommend.

Exactly what I needed
Just got it today, but this is perfect so far! I have a ton of different remotes for my theater room, with the drop down screen being RF and most of the devices hidden which makes IR a challenge. I was going to make an arduino control everything with ir and rf blaster, custom code, cloud integration to work with Alexa, etc. Would have taken forever. Instead, I found this little guy (nice and compact and sleek) which does all this for me with some simple setup. Watch the setup video btw, instructions aren't great. I can say "Alexa, show time" and a routine triggers the lights off and a scene i created which turns on the projector, lowers the screen, sound system on, bluray player on, and selects Netflix. "Alexa, Shows over" and it all turns off, raises the screen, and lights back on. Pretty slick! Time will tell how it goes with any bugs or issues now.

Good Picture but bad controls and weak sound
Great picture, horrible controls even the Kodak ap they have you download.The controls on the top of the device are extremely difficult to use to manage the set up menus and choose programs and settings. The Kodak Luma ap is designed to work much better but it is very frustrating. The device uses WiFi to talk to your phone (not directly via Bluetooth or wifi direct to each other) we tried three different iPhones and iPads with the ap and all three have same issue even if we are 10 feet from the router where we have 200 MB per second WiFi, so it is the Device and its software that is the issue. The projector loses contact with the device controlling it and you have to flip though menus and wait for it to reconnect five or six times as you try to choose a Netflix or Amazon show to watch. Not so great speakers in is another issue and no Bluetooth to external speakers. I was thinking of the ViewSonic M1 Smart that has built in Hartman Karson Bluetooth. Might return this.

Excellent
I bought this for my daughters bedroom, after reading all the positive reviews for it. If you are considering buying this, then don't think twice- it's amazing! The lights are so bright and beautiful! It truly gives off an aurora borealis effect, which you can customize to your liking via the red, blue, green, and white light buttons. There are many combinations of light that you can create, like the colors of the rainbow.There are many other galaxy-themed projectors on Amazon, but once you turn them on, the lighting looks cheap...the light effects here truly look like this projector costs twice the price! The cheaper ones have the stars in a grid-like pattern....this one has them scattered about and they appear to twinkle. I love that the stars flicker in and out, like they do in nature. This gives it a dynamic effect that's really enjoyable- you stand there mesmerized, waiting for the stars to appear again every few seconds.

Great but could be even better
After sitting through tons of user reviews of various aurora projectors, constellation projectors, etc, I settled on this one because the start pattern seemed more natural-like since it has less rows of aligned stars. However, I like the projector’s star grid to have even more randomness to it to increase the sense of being a bit more like reality in which stars do not occur in rows.I would also like to see the “white noise” —a very pleasant simple piano stanza— be much longer so that it doesn’t seem so repetitive. Being able to choose between several different white noise options who be a great step up, but the important thing is just not to sound annoying repetitive.Finally, the instruction manual needs a native English language speaker to edit it. As is, it’s passable.Having said all that I’m very pleased with this purchase. It’s many very nice features have been described elsewhere.

Wow! Transforms the Room!
I spent a few hours comparing reviews before getting this, and I spent more than I wanted compared to all the low cost star projectors. I am extremely pleased. The green "stars" are crisp and bright thanks to being a laser diffracted through a prism, and the nebula simulator is really cool with a layered movement that transforms it as it slowly rotates.The brightness levels are a nice touch when I want to use it in a dark room or a room with some ambient light, and it also lets you turn on just the stars or just the nebula (my wife's favorite).Projection is also wide, so it hits the entire ceiling along with some wrap-around slightly down the walls. If you hit a wall, it will light up the whole wall providing you shoot it from across the room.The next level up from this would be a real constellation projector, which is at a much, much higher price point. This is really the best bang for the buck.
