Good for monitoring my dog
Bought 2 mostly to keep an eye on my dog when we are out or working in out office. The quality is great during the day or when there's some light. Audio is also clear. I haven't had any problems with accessing the camera through the app. The only downside is if the room is completely dark, you won't be able to see anything. I didn't buy these cams for security purposes so they work fine for what I need.

Cheaper, but surprising resilient Gopro alternativ
The Akaso V50 pro is a great alternative to the GoPro. I was in the market for a decent action camera that I could do time lapses with for when I'm on the road, or just needed some b roll for my videos. The quality is great at 1080p, and even better at 4k, it comes with tons of accessories and even has a pack that's full of more accessories than you'll know what to do with. It comes with two batteries, and a charger right out the box, and I usually get about two hours out of a full charge, but I usually have it plugged in a charger most of the time while recording.Although not waterproof itself, mine survived the trip through a full cycle washing machine without the case and still works it's a tough little camera for the price, but I wouldn't go tossing it into washing machines now.if you're in the market for a decent alternative, the Akaso v50pro might be a decent camera for you.Pros- Easy to use AI- Good image quality- Decent sound quality- Decent range of features- good battery lifeCons- proprietary ext mic

Convenient action camera.

Light, Camera, Action
I knew my Skype appearances were a little iffy at best. It was time for a halo light. I use it on my laptop where it clamps on pretty easily. The light control is very simple to use, and it works very well. The only improvement I could see would be to increase the thread size for the tripod interface so I could use it for a small camera. Otherwise, it works just fine and a relative bargain for the price.
