After going through two different brand cameras, I finally stumbled upon Infant Optics DXR8 in a web search. Set up was super easy and the picture clarity in day/night mode was clear! I never lost contact at that brought me complete piece of mind! This camera is everything I was looking for!

Really good camera over all.Pros:-FANTASTIC night vision. It’s clear and I can actually see the room, unlike my previous monitor whose “night vision” was dark and blurry.-Zoom in feature is remarkable. Options are 1x (normal), 2x, and 4x. I prefer it on the 2x but all are great and surprisingly clear picture.-I like the control panel. Lots of options provided neatly on the screen. Easy to figure out.-does not connect to Wi-Fi so I don’t have to be worried about any hackers talking to my children at nightNeutral Aspects-Seems like there has been an attempt at white noise cancellation. It makes the fan in my child’s room sound like warbley running water, but I can hear her voice a lot more clearly than my last monitor.-I wish there were an option to add my own music or have the camera connect to my phone via Bluetooth for the speaker, but for now we make do with holding the “talk” button and playing a song through the mic on the monitor.-I wish VOX modes considered white noise as a factor, but they go by decibels of noise in the room. Would be better if it only triggered by difference in decibels from “average” to “slightly increased” instead of all noiseCons:-Bright green light on the camera flashing/blinking when the monitor turns off.-Noise cancellation not perfect-Receiver on the back of the camera turns with the camera when adjusting it on the monitor. As a result, does not do well close to the wall.-Very tall camera doesn’t allow it to look all the way down so I only see half the room regardless of how I mount it. Just make sure whoever you’re using this for usually set up across the room.Overall, very happy with my new monitor!! It’s perfect for my family’s needs.

Wow, what a difference from the first monitor we had, So glad we upgraded to this one! The picture is sharp & clear, love the ability to see from far off to really close. It’s just as good at night as it is in daytime.

I use both in the same room since he sleeps in a. Rib and sometimes in the bed. The picture is so much clearer than the previous monitor I can hear him very well also.

Absolutely love that day or night you have the perfect vision, sound works amazing and has great range so i can take the monitor anywhere in the house

This trail cam is incredible. Great night vision, works well in the rain and snow. Picture quality is crystal clear. My dad loved it so much I am buying one for my sister's boyfriend who is also an avid hunter.
