Works great!
I read the other reviews after I ordered 5his and was nervous. However it came as describes, all GoPro components, and the battery. Only think I had to get was the SD card. Shot some short videos to test it out and it works fine. This is my third GoPro and other than one being lost in a lake (my fault of course), I’ve had no problems.

So far so good
Easy to install and set up. It did take 3 tries for it to initially connect but so far no issues. I actually did unplug the unit to see what would happen and it reconnected without any problems. Motion detection is great as well as the night vision. I’m still learning the functions and options for settings. So far it works the way I had hoped.One week later…I only use the SD card. Manual Pics and video save to my phones camera roll. Still loving

Gets the job done!
This is a convenient trail cam with a viewing screen. I really like that it has the screen so you can check the footage without having to have a separate device for viewing. It also comes with the batteries and SD card. It was very simple to set up and comes with a user manual. There are options to mount it or strap it, I chose the latter. You can also adjust the sensitivity, which is really nice.I love that it can be passcode protected as well.I’ve been using the video option and it’s been really nice quality and providing reliable evidence of the wildlife on our property.This is a great trail cam for the price! I will definitely be ordering another one for a different section of my land.

Great idea for sound card problems
Had a fairly new computer that had intermittent sound problems. I could get sound to work by deleting drivers and rebooting. After a few minutes, the sound would drop out again. Tried a driver update program that seemed to help a little but problem persisted. Found this USB sound adapter. What a great idea. I just haven't had much problem with USB ports over the years and this adapter gives me reliable and great sound. I bought a spare in case one of my other 15 computers gives me problems.

Read the directions before using apparently.
I read the negative reviews first and the troubles most seem to have been ignoring the instructions.There is no internal memory, you must add an sd-card for the camera to work.This is an ad-hoc wireless, you connect a phone to the camera using the lidcam software.I haven't used it long enough to say anything about the battery time.Taking videos using a digital zoom is a mystery to me. everything can be zoomed in latter.There are lots of video stabilizing softwares out there. If your video is shaky from a camera bouncing on the end of a cap brim, download and fix it.It took 3 minutes to read the pamphlet and it answered most of the problems folks seem to be having.
