Perfect amount of light and goes off when the room is light enough.

UPDATE: After all of this time, I finally got the bulbs to work and felt the need to update my review. Previously I had a router with a separate 2g and 5g. No matter where I stood, even when connected to the 2g, the app would not register the phone. My wifi router was upgraded to one that has a combined 2g and 5g. Following advice I read online about combo routers, I made the bulb flicker quickly and then went to the furthest corner of my 1 bdrm apt (apparently it forces it to 2g or something) and it connected to the bulb. Don't move or cancel the connection if it didn't connect quickly. Some just connect faster than others. It can sometimes take the bulbs 1:30 minutes of the 2 min timer, but it does connect. Another helpful tip is that they connect more easily when the bulbs are flashing more quickly. If you dont switch it according to the directions it can start blinking slowly (no idea what this means) but there's clearly a difference because it usually won't connect with the slow blonk. Brightness seems comparable to another slightly more expensive brand of bulbs I bought and if you use the smart life app, it automatically connects to alexa which was very convenient.Can't get this to connect to my WiFi despite no issues with other smart products. I made sure it was 2G and everything. Sadly, it took me one day past the return window to finally give up smh.

Works exactly as it should. I don't use the WD software, since I use CrashPlan, perhaps the best backup software ever. If the disk speed was 7200 RPM, I would give it 6 stars. My review is based on the assumption that it will last as well as my old 1TB WD drive.

It's got the capacity and the portability you expect. But even if you read the dimensions and thinks it's gonna be bigger, your wrong! it's smol as heck and that's fine. Nuff said.
