Kids Love this!
Both of my kids love this light. They use to fight over who gets to have it in their room, so instead of buying 2, we were able to make it a reward on who was better behaved in the day. It changes colors or can be a solid color if you want. Overall well made and good lighting. I believe that it has a timer so that it eventually turns off, but I imagine the energy usage for this is less than a fan. If on the fence, go ahead and give it a try. If you don't like it, the company stands behind making you satisfied.
