This is a great PoE camera. I have used it for about a month, and it has been perfect so far.Daytime Image Quality - 5/5Daytime images are excellent quality and very detailed. The 4k resolution is extremely nice for seeing fine detail. The WDR setting allows for a pretty extreme dynamic range and still maintains visibility in the highlights and shadows.Nighttime Image Quality - 4.5/5Compared to most of my older cameras, this would be a 5/5. The only reason I would give it 4.5/5 is in comparison to the newer Amcrest 5MP dome cameras. To my eye, those seem a bit less grainy in low light. This camera is still excellent compared to older models though.Build & Mount - 5/5The mount and housing seem to be mostly metal and seem to be much more sturdy than the Amcrest 5MP dome models. Once you have the camera positioned and tighten the screw down, there is little chance that it is going to move at all. Mounting was also very easy and didn't require any special tools (other than the wrench included in the box).Software - 4.5/5The newer Amcrest cameras will display video directly in modern web browsers without the need for plugins, which is extremely handy. The web-based control panel can be a little clunky, but all of the important features are there and pretty easy to access. Setting it up to email snapshots on motion detection was no problem. The mobile app is also easy to use and configure.

Bought this about a month ago to replace an old Hikvision Turret Camera, video quality during the day is outstanding, at night it is good but very grainy no matter what settings I tweak. For the money this is a really nice camera, just be careful when you go to install it once I loosened the locking screw the whole thing fell apart and I haven’t been able to get it to securely lock the camera back in place again.Pros – Inexpensive, lots of features, excellent video quality during the day, flexible mounting options.Cons – Only basic Motion Detection, The On Screen Overlay is white only, gets washed out easily.For the money I would recommend this camera.

Im grateful that we were able to find this camera for our family. Has great picture quality and motion detection. Easy to set up too! The only small con is that the SD card slot placement is not in the most obvious location. I had to search and search were to find it.( its inside the camera's eye at top)The booklet that I git with the camera does not say this. But overrall, this is a great buy!

I have had this camera for several weeks now. Installation was easy and it had everything needed. I covers the entire front yard in the field of view. You have to at around with motion detection over the first days to see what works for you. Night view works but I have flood lights. On board sd card is not accessible after installation so bench top setup is suggested before final install. Turn off motion detect on app when cutting grass in front yard. Customer support via email from app was nice.

We bought this camera to help see our daughter at night. As a new mom, I was so worried I wouldn’t be able to hear my daughter if she needed me. The visual quality of the camera is top notch. If my daughter moves in the middle of the night, I will get an alert on my phone showing motion was detected. There’s also a setting for motion tracking which will be very helpful once she is more mobile. We not only use the camera as a baby monitor, but we also use it to check in on our dogs. There is an option to pan the camera around the room. A full 360 view. Highly recommend!

I had one of my 4MP cameras fail on me, so I purchased this one to replace it. With double the resolution and h.265 streaming, this is a clear improvement, at the expense of higher network traffic. Worth it for me and I've been impressed with the overall quality. Easy to integrate with Blue Iris as well. This camera also has very good night-time image quality. Recommended!

Perfect replacement for my older unsupported Amcrest cams. Super easy to install. It took a bit longer because I had to hot glue the semicircle hole in the mounting plate to keep insects out, and to maintain somewhat of a water seal. There is a place to put an insert there, but Amcrest did not supply one with either of the two I purchased. Overall, this camera model has a great picture, good audio and the night vision is good. Because I have exterior LED lighting, I'm able to turn off the night vision and maintain a color picture at night. If you plan on purchasing this turret camera make sure you buy or have a poe injector or switch, and the correct CAT cable. Neither are supplied.

I use this for my dogs while I am gone and for the price and the quality I am so happy with this purchase. It works wonderfully
