I really enjoyed this camera. I was in the market for a cam for my cruise and had decided to go with a GoPro, but wanted to do a fair comparison with others in the market.I'm so glad I did!I found the V50 and after multiple reviews, discovered that is had all the features that I desired but for half the cost. It was a no brainer from there.If you want a great cam with 4k 60fps but not wanting to spend an arms and a leg, then choose this cam.

I've been using this camera for several years indoors and outdoors (covered area) for running a lifestream puppy cam. They work well.

This quick review is for the Akaso V50 Elite action cam.I mainly bought this camera to replace the Akaso Brave 4 that I use for Scuba diving. I retired the Brave 4 from diving and primarily use it for a web cam on my pc now. (little shoutout for the Brave 4)The V50 Elite is an exceptional camera underwater. The clarity and color is dive mode is fantastic. The ability to use 128 GB card is awesome also which allows me to let this camera capture video during an entire dive. I found the battery will last about 45-50 minutes in high res, which is great for a complete dive. I just carry extra batteries for multiple dives.Above the water, this camera serves as a handlebar cam on my road bike, time lapse cam on plants breaking ground over multiple days and sunrise to sunsets.With a good video editor you can also make some pretty darn good movies with the footage from this cameraAll in all, I love this cam and would recommend it to anyone, and at the great price, it's a no brainer.

The Video is good, if you are going to be shooting in 1080.. there is no lag or anything, but when you get into 2.7K or 4K it slows down dramatically, so whatever you are going to be filming needs to be stationary, I tried to use it on my motorcycle and the video was really slow and it seemed the camera couldnt handle the 4 K and moving, so I put it in 2.7 on the way back and the same thing.. I did put it in 1080 and it worked.. But that is not what I bought it for.. But for the price I suppose I cant expect a real 4K action cam.. I purchased an apeman action cam for around the same price, and it was great! I even used it on my quadcopter and the picture was great, for some reason they are not around anymore.. and I thought this would be compatible.. Nope.. I ended up just buying the GoPro Herro Session 5.. and I am happy with itREVIEW UPDATE;This company has sent me the new version of their Dragon Cam called AKASO V50 - I have not tried it yet, but I wanted to add a couple stars for a reason, They did send me the new camera without me sending the Dragon Cam back, However I am going to send it back, I cant really use it.. I did have a chance to check out the wifi on the new cam.. Seems to work well... This cam boasts a 4K at 30FPS.. which I hope will work, I will do a complete review on the new cam and see how it works and let you all know... But I did want to commend this company for making this right and sending me out a much better camera in replacement for the Dragon Cam.. Now the only thing I can say about the Dragon Cam.. Is that it works well as a computer camera, so if you have a show or something like that and you want to stream on YouTube or something like that it will work well, But the camera moving around will not work well.. But the V50 looks pretty good, so look for my next review.

I had an older Bushnell Trophy Cam (brown case) that had less battery life, did not have video/audio options and cost more than this camera, so when I saw this available as an open-box return, I took a chance and bought it, and have been impressed with the superior quality and features of this camera. The camo finish is also nicer than the old brown case that used to be standard on the Trophy Cam. If you need a better-than-average trail cam in a small package for a great price, this can't be beat.

This AKASO Brave 4 camera is exactly the helmet cam that I was looking for. It came with all of the accessories I needed to mount it onto my motorcycle helmet.

This cam is 100% clear picture when I did self view and when I used it on a Skype type application. The double mic is also outstanding. A company I talk to often uses this same came for all their video conferencing. I would definitely 100% recommend this cam to anyone. I just bough tone from a different retailer on here and the camera was junk even thought it has 5 star reviews. I give this cam 6 star reviews !

The camera seems to work well. Pretty good image - seems to "blow out" easily in too much light but I did not expect perfection from an inexpensive web-cam. The instructions are very brief, showing only how to mount the camera on a notebook top. The only issue I have is that I cant figure out how to substitute it for the web-cam built into my notebook.
