This microphone kit just way surpassed my hopes. I'm not an audio pro, or anywhere near. But I've got a few microphones. One is especially good. When I compared the sound quality of this K&F to my best mic, omg, this K&F is so much better. I'm stunned.Windows has Volume and Boost settings that allow this K&F microphone's gain to be increased 30dB. The reason that matters to me is, I have a least-favorite USB mic which produces only feeble volume. Windows offers no gain control for it. But this K&F can be cranked way up. I mean WAY up. Way louder than needed, without any static or hiss.----------------------------------I've also got a K&F brand tripod for my binoculars which I'm very pleased with.I'll be on the lookout for other great products from K&F.----------------------------------I do have a few gripes about this microphone kit. The mic itself has no on/off switch. I'm using it plugged into a PC. I want to be sure it's really turned off when not in use. Without having to unplug it. Also, the tripod doesn't have a pivoting platform to swivel and tilt the mic. If it did, I could use it as a general purpose desktop phone tripod. Shucks. Also, it would have been nice if K&F would have included a foam wind-noise shield, in addition to the raccoon tail. And finally, the great quality cords that K&F supplied are too short for use with a PC.
