Folds small
Sturdy enough and fits in a pelican case.

Another superior product made by Pelican.
From my experience as a devoted Pelican customer, I'll say that this company won't manufacture a poor quality product. This strap was easy and quick to install, and has held up to my rough handling, but still looks as good as the day I clipped it on. It was clearly designed with every bit of care for superior quality that ALL Pelican products exhibit. I don't think that this strap could possibly be made better than it is.

Pelican Air 1535 - Excellent Size and Weight
I bought the Pelican Air 1535, and it is a perfect middle ground in terms of size and weight. It is not too big, but it holds everything that I need it to hold. The TrekPak dividers are very sturdy and it keeps everything in place.

What’s not to love?
This case has everything you would want from a pelican at a fraction of the price. It is built extremely well. Great hinges great latches. It has a pressure seal for air travel. And a good solid handle. Provided you use the foam properly that should protect anything that you put in this. This is not my first case from this company. I use them to protect several expensive optics that I own and so I am not surprised that this was good because I had bought this brand before to protect very expensive equipment.I used to buy halberd cases. Then they became ridiculously expensive and I went to the also random pelican. Now Pelican is the Uber expensive front runner and I have moved two other less known brands and Meija is one of them and they do not disappoint. They seem to have every bit of the quality that the competition has at lower prices. The one thing they do not seem to have extra foam that you can buy but since the sizes are fairly standardized you can buy foam from another company. Extra film however is ridiculously expensive and you can pay almost the price of the original case just for new foam inserts. It’s highway robbery but I’m not going to change the universe. I equate this at the same level as toner and inkjet cartridges. I bring this up just to say when you were customizing your phone be careful. Measure twice and cut once because you don’t have any extra and you don’t want to pay for new ones. The hinges are also very well-made using thick steel pins. There is plenty of plastic reinforcement around the hinge so I am not worried at all about them breaking. Same with the handle it is a vacuum formed one piece of very sturdy plastic again hinged with metal. The construction of this case leaves nothing to be desired. One thing to note that this is pull-and-pluck foam. They have little square perforations that you can just break apart and pull out. This is very common but the description makes it sound like it’s a solid piece of foam that you actually have to cut. This is not the case with this case.I think I forgot to mention the metal reinforced holes for adding a padlock. It’s also bright orange so it will probably stand out in the sea of black hard cases and make it easy to find.

Very convenient but has its limitations
I have an Osmo 2 at work. It is a better gimbal but it uses your phone and is enormous. I bought this for a camping/hiking trip. It is a perfect size. The battery seemed to run down around 3.5 to 5 hours or less. We used it for time lapse while driving, sunsets and sunrises. It does great time lapse including a bike trail ride where I clamped it to the handlebars. I connected my Anker power pack to it in an attempt to make an overnight time lapse. The Anker was too smart and shut off once it charged the camera, so the camera ran dead a second time before sunrise. I did buy the Polar filter kit, the camera likes them. Every now and then the gimbal would drift causing the need to re-center it.Stabilization is decent but when I tilt left and right it doesn't correct very far. There is also a time or two the gimbal powered up and was not level according to my eye...No built in WiFi is annoying, I spent another $120 bucks for the accessory kit, $60 for NV filters, $30 for a case, $30 for Go Pro accessory mounts...Overall, it is a compromise from what a professional work horses the Osmo 1 and 2 are. But the gimbal I have in my pocket on vacation is better than the one sitting in a Pelican case back at the office...

Works great
I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max. I have a thick Pelican case and a PopSocket installed. It is not able to be fully clamped into place but it stays put and has never fallen out. I attached mine to my windshield and that baby isn't going anywhere, despite how heavy my phone is. It bobs a bit as you drive, and sometimes the elbow of the holder loosens and your phone droops over the course of a few days, but that's nothing a little lift and tightening by hand can't fix. I'm really happy with this item and I trust it with my phone.

Great and could be better if they made a light dut
Great case. Nice to have an alternative to the expensive pelican cases.Be careful if you mix up the layers of foam.... They are NOT the same dimensions, so if you mix them up, the pull out pick & pluck foam sections don't line up from layer to layer = looks sloppy.I needed a nice plastic case, a step above a soft sided case. I didn't need something that you can drive a car over. These case guys need to make a "light duty" version, and lower the price even more.
