Good alternative to the cable box/monthly fee
We recently moved and ended up with an extra TV. I wanted to set it to in the guest room, but I'm tried of being ripped off by the cable company and their monthly "box" fee. I did some research and this antenna was one of the recommended items. Came quickly, set up in minutes, took a few minutes to do the channel scan and it was up and running. Clear picture, all the local channels I wanted and more. I don't have the amplifier on, because we didn't need it. Definitely recommend, it costs less than 2 months of what our cable company charges for the digital converter and does everything we need.

Remotely connected an Ethernet Device
I had an ethernet device that was located far away from the modem & router and would have required a very long cable and drilling my walls and floor. Plugged this into the nearby wall socket, rant an ethernet cable from this to my device and i was on the internet again with no problems so far.
