Ok. I did not view the speakers before purchasing the stands - but i made them work. Even after checking other stand options, these were the ones found that can be adapted to my situation. The issue is the speakers of the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX Computer Speakers with subwoofer did not have a standard bookshelf size or stand.I had been looking for a good speaker system for my computer and amazon fire TV. In addition, I've also recently purchased an LG 32QN600-B 32-Inch QHD (2560 x 1440) IPS Monitor. This monitor had the required connections and speaker output for HDMI. This monitor works great!. I was able to use the monitor to hook up my Intel iNuc i7 and Amazon TV and the Klipsch speaker system to great effect. The stands allowed the speakers to be positioned on my desk just above the the monitors. Granted it was necessary to use the Styrofoam packaging to make the speakers fit better. If I could ask for one improvement, the speaker base should be interchangeable with different types of speaker bases.

I have purchased the Creative GigaWorks T20 Series II 2.0 Multimedia Speaker System and the Creative Inspire T10 2.0 Multimedia Speaker System, so I was able to compare them. The T20 speakers had good sound, but not worth twice the price of the T10 speakers, if both purchased at full retail. I purchased the T20 speakers from an Amazon seller for a bit more than half retail price ($60). Both Creative speaker systems use high quality materials and have good sound, but if you want a fuller vibrant more powerful sound, either Klipsch ProMedia or Klipsch R-15PM's or better, would be the choice. Bought these to hold my klipsch r-15pm bookshelf speakers. Just a reminder, these are BOOKSHELF speaker holders. They won't work for super large speakers. Easy to assemble, just follow the instructions and don't over-tighten the screws-it will crack the wood. The speaker pads you install on the top keep the speakers from sliding-they are sturdy and don't require additional securing. I'm not sure what other people are talking about when they say it's not sturdy...the speakers don't move at all. My ONLY gripe is what I'd call a design flaw. As others have said, the two main boards don't completely touch each other, therefore, there is a small gap. This gap is not only noticeable when viewing head-on, but it allows for the wires to pop out the front when you feed the wires in the back to hide them. After a little finagling, I got the wires to stay put and not pop out the front, but I'm not sure why it was designed that way. Anyway, great speaker stands for the klipsch r-15pm.

I used for Klipsch rp600m speakers. Once assembled they look nice and there’s no vibration or rattling on the tile floor. The screw holes were a little bit difficult to line up and on one upright piece the piece began to split well before the screw was close to getting tight. In spite of removing the screw all together the damage was invisible and the stands work well.

Since these particular speakers only have key hole mounting options on the base, it was very difficult to find stands that would work. These stands came with enough accessories to get me 90% of the way but I still had to get a few nuts and screws to finish the job. For anyone reading this review with Quintet speakers, take off the metal base plate then you can tighten the keyhole screws for a sturdy mount.Overall I'm happy with them, everything assembled fine and came with all the advertised accessories. My only request would be to improve the stiffness of the adjustable back but since it's not solely designed to hang speakers on them I can't fault them much.

The Creative T20 speakers sound much better than the Creative T10. The T10 and the Bose Companion 2 do not begin to present as much bass as the T20. I consider the T20 worth the extra money over the T10. The T20 have substantial bass, and more importantly good all around rich presentation that in my opinion sounds better than the Bose Companion 2 (the Bose Companion two sound weaker than other Bose speakers and very weak in the Bass compared to the T20, yet about equal to the Creative T10).I would have liked for the midrange of the T20 (which is good) to be slightly more forward compared to the bass and treble, but the sound overall is still very natural and rich, especially for computer speakers. The T20 sound very full and present and do not sound weak or tin like at all. I found the Bose Companion 2 not near as bass rich and a little weak and tin like in the midrange compared to the T20. The bass of the T20 should make everyone except for those wanting an actual subwoofer happy. With treble and bass knobs, you naturally have some flexibility in modeling the sound of the T20. You can also use your computers EQ or iTunes EQ to push the midrange more forward for more midrange presentation and an even rounder sound (which is still very good even before that).The Klipsch 2.1 with an actual subwoofer and larger speakers sound better than the Creative T20, especially when equalized properly. Yet these T20 speakers come surprisingly close to the Klipsch 2.1 at half the Klipsch price - although they are not quit the equal of the Klipsch. Of course the Klipsch with a real subwoofer play deeper and louder and have a better presence than the T20 (when equalized properly with the midrange pushed more forward).

Used for my Klipsch 1200 sound bar surrounds. Holds them very well. Very easy and quick to assemble nice sturdy base. Will order again for my Klipsch 600 surrounds.

This speaker has 95 dB sensitivity, so it has great sound. The sound is clear and blends in well with the other speakers. I bought this to replace a Bose center speaker. The sensitivity for the Bose was low so it was not able to fill the room like this Klipsch speaker does
