I have now purchased 2 of these lights for myself. I like that it tilts so you can put the light where you need it. I have also used to at my stove as the magnet made it possible to attach it to the hood.

I used one box, 36 sqft for an extended cabin pickup truck and didn’t need anymore. Maybe some for under the hood. It took about half a day, because I pressure washed the floor carpet.

Hood lights that can run off a battery bank which is nice. I like the warmth settings. I did notice a slight intermittent flicker. Not constant but can happen periodically

Definitely has horrible adhesive on it I had to get 3m double sided tape to hood them up. The disco setting is horrible I have to yell for it to activate because it uses voice control through the app

These lil babies are super bright, perfect for da hood, men like darkness rather than light cause their deeds are evil! Well these lil babies will hit them with plenty of light, motion detection is Excellent!

This little thing is loud. It puts both my (older model) smart speaker and air filter to shame. I hang it by the strap on a command hood next to the crib, and it works like a charm. Baby is sleeping in much longer stretches. The night light is a nice addition. I run it all night and just charge it every other day. Perfect size for travel and hanging on a stoller.BUT... you can't find the buttons in the dark. I put raised stickers over the "on" button and light button. The machine maintains its last setting, so i don't need to fiddle with the settings every night, I just find the triangle sticker to turn on. Problem solved.

Worked great for my purpose. My new range hood was louder than I liked. I wrapped the upper exhaust assembly and hushed it by about 50%.I made sure not to apply to bare metal.

I have never owned one of these before so when I got it I looked through both sides, turned it all the way around, and didn't notice any difference. I concluded that I received a defective filter.One poster here suggested to look through it into a mirror. One way it should look clear and the other, dark. It did!.Another person on YouTube suggested the same thing, but instead looking at a computer monitor. Again, clear one way, dark the other.Finally I took it outside and tried it on automobile reflections. Without the filter there was a wide splotch of glare on the hood of the car and with the filter, the splotch was reduced to a tight circle about the size of the sun, so it does work. After all, it was a direct reflection of the sun.As for bluer sky's, I tried that and it made them bluer (I think?). It also made pronounced differences on the grass color which was easier to see. Anyway, I understand that how much difference this makes is determined by the angle of the light so I have some more testing to do.Anyway, at first, I was ready to send this back because I didn't know what to expect or how to test it. This is one case when ignorance is not bliss.I have to assume that a better filter will be better, but for the price difference, this seems to be a good filter with which to get your feet wet and perhaps will be all that many of us need.On the issue of whether the filter degrades the image...I have only taken a few pictures, but I cannot see any degradation what-so-ever. If fact, I see an improvement in shadows making everything seems a little more defined.
