Save your Money! UPDATE! Please read!
Update! The good people at Akaso customer service were very helpful & accommodating with my Akaso Brave 4 problem! Things like this do happen occasionally with any type of sensitive electronic equipment exposed to the elements. My hobby is Paramotoring, a rough & tumble, outdoor aerial sport. I now believe that's what attributed to my camera experience. With Akaso's attention & dedication to customer satisfaction, my problem has been resolved. I highly recommend Akaso & their products! Their customer service is superlative. My new 5 star rating has been earned by them!Freezes up on opening AKASO page. Will not Format. I tried several mini sd cards thinking it was the cards fault. Not so. All were top notch cards, not el cheapos. Some had video on them, some were brand new. None could be formatted. This is a piece of crap. I do have an Akaso Brave 7 LE however, that so far, has worked perfectly. Stay away from the 4.

Looking to get the additional free accessory.
Well, I just bought this camera and unboxed it earlier today. I'll go out tomorrow and buy a couple of 32 Gb SD cards since they didn't come with the camera. I just charged all three batteries but, obviously, I haven't had a chance to use the camera. The manufacturer requires that the buyer write a review and send proof of the review to them for them to send you a free additional accesory, so that's what this is for. There are lots of accessories and looks like I'll be able to use the camera under numerous conditions, but for now, I'm just writing this review to get the additional free accessory.

Amazing for the Price
I wasn't sure about this originally. These were easy to assemble and connect. It offers you a subscription to their cloud account but I just spent a little extra money and bought 32g SD cards for each camera and use that just fine. I also like how you can adjust the notification settings and even put it in to "stealth" mode. My kids don't even know they are there, and with teenagers, that's important. I also like that the app is easy to navigate through. very user friendly. The picture quality is insane both day and night vision. great quality camera.

Cool experience for newbie but be prepared to use
I've never owned a trail camera before so this is my first and I didn't want to go all out. I live in a big city and I've thought about a security camera before but didn't want to deal with cloud storage subscriptions etc. I'm mainly interested in what poops in and digs up my front yard so a trail cam seemed like a fun alternative that can also be moved around.I've now had the camera out two nights and already caught three cats in the middle of the night. Nice. Otherwise just tested it on dog walkers, cars, the mailman. Still playing with optimal settings to reduce waste with boring recordings. So far so good. Camera was easy to set up with decent instructions, albeit awkwardly phrased at times. Comes in a nice box. I like the non-strap mount and screwed it to a piece of wood I can move around in the yard. Decent features in the settings but as a newbie I have no comparison to what higher-end cameras might have. Two things that are already not good:The USB cable connection does not work! While the camera does activate "connected mode", my Windows 8.1 PC will not recognize the SD card as a connected drive. Support so far told me my best option is not to use the provided cable as different computers may need different cables. What!? If anything doesn't seem to fit right it's the micro port on the camera side. Using SD card with reader adapter works fine but not preferred. The Down button has started to accidentally trigger the OK button unless I touch the very left edge of the Down button with my fingernail.Assorted other:Amazon suggests as "frequently bought together" that I get a two-pack of 32GB SD cards but they are the wrong type. Beware! Some confusion/contradiction between "supports up to 256GB" and "supports less than 256GB".Windows may not support the video file format. Why not just say they are AVI files? No problem. Never heard of these other players.Product title could somehow state that this is the "A1 model". Also says 16MP but setting goes to 20MP.Concerned how much battery is already used up in the two nights (I inserted 8).Wishful feature:Option to preserve the file counter between SD cards and deletes/formats or let us set an offset so that files are numbered chronologically and I don't have to deal with duplicate reused names on my PC.Still considering a return or at least exchange to see if the two things above are isolated to a few bad apples. Have a still unanswered e-mail follow-up in with tech support.Update March 2 to 8, 2022:Customer service contacted me with a very kind and detailed e-mail that addressed everything in my review. They are very willing to listen to suggestions and make improvements in their descriptions. They offered me a refund, or a replacement directly to my address. I chose the replacement and received a new camera the next day.The keypad is fine now. Unfortunately the USB cable connection is again not working but I've come to accept that and just plug the SD card into a PC adapter. Either method requires to pop open the camera case anyway.Battery life is not an issue I found out now as my camera is on stand-by more often. With a big enough card (I have a 128GB now but it does support 256GB) the file numbering isn't much of a concern, especially with the option to delete the oldest when full.I've received a refund for my shipping cost to return the old camera (generously not asked to return the accessories).Because of this good interaction with customer care I am upping my review from 3 to 4 stars.

Awesome video for the price!
Bought this action camera to use when we rode our bikes in the Black Hills of South Dakota for vacation. Clear video hardly any vibration. Camera was mounted to my highway bars and there was hardly any vibration in the video. You could see the front fender moving but not the camera. Comes with 2 batteries and each last 2 hours. I bring the charger, switch out batteries when needed and then charged the used battery on my bike. That way I have plenty of battery to use. Also comes with several mounting hardware to fit your need, clear case to put camera in when mounted to one of the brackets. This does not come with a case to carry all items that come with it and it is something that is needed. You will need to purchase SD cards to use. You will not go wrong with this camera.

Problem was lack of documentation, not hardware
When connecting the camera to a computer using USB cable, the camera is supposed to go into "MASS TRANSFER" mode, meaning the micro SD card in the camera can be accessed for file transfer.I just bought the camera last week and this function worked properly the first few times I tried it, but now, the camera just powers on when I plug it in, and I cannot access the SD card.I contacted Akaso customer support via e-mail, and they suggested I try different cables and computers. I just tried 3 different cables with all 3 of my computers and was only able to get into the MASS TRANSFER mode once with about 20 tries....it seems random and has nothing to do with the cables or computers.I reported this to Akaso and their solution was to just remove the microSD card and use the adapter. I'm a 65 year old geek and have been using all variants of media forever, and I can tell you from experience that microSD cards are fragile, and their contacts will wear out quickly.....only the large, standard SD cards are designed for frequent insertion and removal. So I guess I'll try an exchange with Amazon, but if I have the same issue with the replacement camera I will be forced to buy a GoPro. I live in TX but have been working in China since 1991 and their manufacturing QC has improve greatly since then but they still have a ways to go.......still lots of very inferior subcomponents (i.e., connectors) in use.Update 1/20/2020Amazon sent a replacement and initially I had the same issue. After playing with the new camera, I discovered the camera must be powered on before connecting it to a computer via USB. I've been in contact with Akaso CS and they will confirm this and add this to their instructions.

Good but some issues
Overall it's a decent camera for the price. I haven't had a lot of use, but have tested the various features. The only thing I can't get to work properly is the fast motion recording at 10 or 15X speed. I've tried multiple SD cards and it will still freeze. Been working with their customer support troubleshooting, but have yet to get a proper resolution. Not sure if I'm going to keep it or refund at this point.

Fits a Samsung WB380 perfectly.
This Case Logic camera case fits a Samsung WB380 point and shoot camera perfectly, if not perfectly snug, and I love this little case for my camera. It’s extremely durable, cleanly made, well stitched and constructed, well padded, and came with a detachable shoulder strap. The front zip pouch easily holds a USB cable, extra memory cards and/or SD card adapters, but wasn't quite large enough for the wall wart charger (but I can't take away any stars for that because I knew that when I purchased it).The pouch has two compartments inside; the larger I use for the USB cable or any larger accessories, and the smaller compartment I use to hold micro SD cards and an adapter.I purchased this case because I was looking for something durable and compact that would protect my camera while hiking or battling the crowds in Walt Disney World. I have owned case logic camera and CD cases for years and all of them have held up well and done their job. This little case has been more than up to its intended task and has made it through multiple trips to the Walt Disney World and is still in like new condition. It has been well worth the money.
