I purchased 3 of these POE cameras. It took several hours to run the cables, terminate the RJ45's and mount the cameras. The software that comes with the cameras was so far out of date that it wouldn't work. I was able to get a link to newer software and I am happy to say it does work. I setup a FTP server on my home computer and the cameras send any video recordings there. I did have to install SD cards though before video could be recorded even with the FTP option enabled. I also receive emails with pictures when an alarm is triggered. I wish the pictures would be spaced out a little. You can choose to send 1, 2 or 3 and I opted for 2. You will need a POE switch because they do not come with POE injectors. The power supply is for programming only. I don't like the pig tail that comes out of the camera which includes, 3 cables for power, RJ45, and Audio. I did put a little silicone in the power adapter to seal it from weather. It has threads on it, but no cap to screw on to protect it. The PTZ and Focus buttons are excellent. The cameras are whisper quiet. I wish the GUI included more options, but for a budget camera it has most of what I desired. I actually plan to add one more camera to my system. In summary this is a good option for users on a budget and a nice way of avoiding monthly fees with subscription service options. However installing and configuring these is not something any DIY person will be able to do. If you are an IT person or know one you should be just fine.

Great cameras! Audio and video are both outstanding. I only used their software to set up the camera, so can't comment too much on that. They work outstanding with my Blue Iris DVR/NVR software. Using Blue Iris so I can record to PC instead of SD Card or their cloud service.

I purchased the Yi 4 pk. 1080 Indoor security cameras. I was skeptical but am so glad I took the chance. I placed them in various windows facing outside as it’s outside I want to observe. They work perfectly during the day and, where the outside area is lit, at night. If the area is not lit, there is a reflection on the glass from the IR light, but they ARE designed to be indoor cameras. They work very well indoors, day and night, as intended. I have observed some sketchy people that have rung my doorbell when I’m not home (I have a camera in the window next to door), along with the neighbor’s cat, a family of raccoons, an opossum and numerous squirrels. I had an issue where they stopped alerting me of activity (which I see some others have had, also) and contacted Yi customer service. They promptly replied to my request and worked with me to make sure all my phone settings were correct. Turned out, the problem was with my phone settings, battery saver shutting down the app, NOT with the cameras or their app. I especially love that I can insert my own sd cards to save & view past events and not have to pay for ‘cloud’ subscription. I don’t know of another security camera that offers this. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase! In fact, I ordered another set of 4. If you are still in doubt, look up some reviews and comparisons of the Yi cameras on youtube.

I previously gave these cameras a glowing review on the individual cameras that you can find on that page, but this bundle makes it an even better deal. I buy solar panels for each one of the cameras, as they all work incredibly well. I've had the camera watching my front porch running for over a year now connected to a solar panel and I've never had to take it down for charging ever. I hung this one up to watch wildlife activity near the creek, and despite it being around 300 feet away from the router and shaded by trees for the majority of the day, this camera has not dropped below 90% battery for the week+ that I've had it mounted.Previously, buying the camera + the panels individually cost me 78$, after applied coupon, and even then I considered it a great deal. This deal hear with both bundled together costing only $50 after applied coupon is a ridiculously good value. The same setup with Ring cameras would cost around $150 per device. To reiterate from my other review, the big benefit of these over Ring operationally is these can save recorded footage to a local micro SD card (up to 256 GB, which is far more than enough for the camera's lifespan), whereas Ring requires a pricey subscription to their cloud storage, and without an active subscription all footage is entirely lost.Cameras also have a SD and an HD mode. I use the cameras in HD mode as the different to connect to the camera feed between each is negligable, and the HD image comes through crisp even through significant foliage and distance. Included are photos comparing SD vs HD.In short, for 50$, this is an absolute steal, and a big money saver for if you have a lot of ground to cover for security, or want to set up more cameras for non-security related things like to watch wildlife around your property.

This is another trail camera out of many that we have up around the span of three properties in the gorgeous Ozarks. The different variety of animals are really prevalent. We had a pet wild elk that stuck around for over a year before moving on. The coyotes are a pain in the rear but I’d love to see a bear captured. My husband sees them quite frequently, they especially love getting into our trash. Where we have to put it for pickup is a ways away so I never get the chance so that’s where this camera has been mounted a mile down from our house. This is a reliable brand for trail cameras. It is very easy to setup and operate. I always like to say that this operating system is “me proof/idiot proof” so if I can get this up and running on my own than anyone can. The user manual is very specific and easy to understand. This comes will all the cables, an SD memory card, nylon belt, and wall mount. The night vision is pretty clear and the footage comes out looking great. I haven’t come across any blurry or glitched shots yet and that speaks volumes about the quality of this. It’s definitely worth the price. And would make a great gift for the guys.

From other reviews and at this price point they may have some QC issues making them hit or miss, but I have some cameras that cost twice what these do and are not a year old that don't do as good a job. The only reason I gabled on these is I had to put cameras in a place with a risk of theft so based on the reviews and the price I thought we would give these a try. Man the pictures and video are great day and night. The range of settings and options are top tier and after two weeks with over 500 15 second 1080 video clips and 600 high resolution snap shots both cameras were still functioning perfectly. I am completely satisfied and will be ordering some more.

These cameras were inexpensive so I wasn't expecting a lot. I was wrong. These cameras have an excellent picture. Great night vision. And were easy to install and set up. I've had them for a month with no issues. The app is idiot-proof. Well worth the price. Another feature I wanted that this model has is the fact that I don't have to subscribe to a monitoring service or am required to use a cloud storage app. Self-contained on an SD card. I also like the fact that they are small and black which allows them to kind of disappear. Overall I would highly recommend these cameras.

This is a great product for the prices! I installed 6 in my home and they work very well. You have to give a lot of thought to where you use the because of their chord and it's length. Ideally, they should run on batteries. The motion detection is not very adaptable to smaller events like floor shadow from cars driving by - so I really can't use the alert features. Definitely need to install micro SD cards if you don't use the cloud service and that is just fine. I really love the product.
