Best decision ever
I am a Arlo owner for over 3 years, I used to have the very first Arlo camera they came out with and I was needing an upgrade, I wasn’t sure which one should I get, and this is the one I choose and I don’t regret my decision. They are awesome.

Good, but not perfect.
This was an add on camera to a larger Arlo system. Strangely, this camera is the only one to develop a problem. The problem is a pink tint to the image, which Arlo customer service is allegedly helping with. After numerous resets which fix the problem temporarily, the pink returns. Arlo has now promised a replacement, but I have not received it yet despite 2 follow-up phone calls... I'll assume it will get replaced. The rest of the system works pretty well, so I'll further assume this unit will also work well, once replaced.

Defective
I loved it in the beginning. Got in the car to go out and the darned thing broke. No way to fix. I am really not happy.

Defective
Updated review after previously given 1 star. I decided to give it another try and returned the old and bought a new one which did work once I put in the batteries and is perfect-- just what I wanted. So provided it works when you first receive it, it's a great product. Let's hope it keeps working!I put in brand new AAA batteries and it never worked despite a QC sticker indicating it had been tested right near the battery case

Defective
I got two of these and they both are defective in the same spot, I wonder if this is just how they’re made or if I was just unlucky with this purchase. I really wanted to love this lamp

Redemption Review
I recently gave a sort of negative review on the wired Arlo HD camera and thought I'd give a review on their product that I absolutely recommend, This Arlo Wire-Free HD camera is AWESOME - I've had it running now for about 3 weeks and can honestly say " it has not failed me once" no reboots, disconnects or anything. I have this camera strategically located outside my front door underneath and an awning.I'd just like to say I would highly recommend and will replace the ARLO HD Wired for an add-on Wire Free even if it doesn't have all the bells and whistles. This camera gets the job done hassle free.

Prior to purchasing this, I had an Arlo Ultra 2 camera system. I migrated off of Arlo to avoid the monthly fees.Pros:1. Very fast alerts/notifications - Much quicker than Arlo.2. Very less false positives. The motion sensor is very responsive. Arlo's motion sensor picks up activity only when the object is bigger than a large dog.3. Very decent camera quality.4. Above all - No monthly fees!Cons:1. App does not provide an ability to download video from SD card onto the phone.2. Colored night vision is enabled only when the LED's turn on. This isn't necessarily a good feature when it turns on each and every time a motion is detected.

Arlo Essential
Overall nice camera. Had difficulty adding my wife as an authorized use on her phone. Prefer the wider angle on the Arlo Pro 4.
