Love it!
I absolutely LOVE this gimbal! This is my first experience using a gimbal and I’ve been extremely pleased with how much better the videos turn out. I mostly make travel videos as a hobby to remember each experience. I love playing around with it and figuring out the best options for different video angles. Would definitely recommend for someone looking for a quality stabilizer that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg!

useful gimbal
useful gimbal to take stabilized photos and videos. This is light weighted and recorded video smoothly. Quickly connected to Bluetooth and app is easy to work with. Easy to carry it.

The Best!
I used my new GoPro on my recent trip to French Polynesia to take underwater photos. Thanks to the clarity of the ocean there, I got phenomenal pictures. And even when bouncing in a Zodiac, the photos were excellent thanks to the stabilizer software.

Wanted this to work so bad.
This product seems to be made with high quality and care, but there are some shortcomings that led to me returning it.The gimbal only has access to its more advanced features when using the Hohem Gimbal app for Android or iOS. Unfortunately, the app refused to let me take photos or videos at full quality, opting instead for 720p 24fps video. This is, understandably, useless for anyone who is taking their filming seriously enough to order a gimbal.I tried using the gimbal without the app and got limited success, but my phone (Kyocera DuraForce Pro 2) is a rugged model that is a bit thicker than your average iPhone, and it just barely stayed in the mount. I felt like I was overtaxing the stabilizer servos even though my phone was lighter than the maximum weight. The phone kept falling out of the mount because it was too thick.If there was an updated version of this product with a thicker phone mount and a better app (or no app at all, just hardware buttons for features), I would definitely buy it. For now, though, I guess I will have to live without a gimbal in my life. Keep trying, Hohem!

Well built, quality feel, and gets the job done.
I just do general photos and videos and just wanted to add some stability and take my footage to the next level. This gimbal did just that.

Excellent quality, performance for the price. iOS
I was impressed with the high quality device and molded case. The whole thing moved very smoothly and felt sturdy. Every feature of the gimbal worked flawlessly. Even though there was no user manual included, the tutorial videos created by other gimbal users was very helpful. I was also impressed with the Hohem Gimbal iOS app. It had a very easy interface and what I really appreciated the fact that the app saved my photos and videos right into the native Apple Photos app, not into the Hohem app.

Best Gimbal Stabilizer for Mobile Smartphones
This product is really easy to use especially for new and aspiring mobile filmmakers. It's easy to use, for beginners like myself, because of the control panel. The suitable price and good quality. This is crazy amazing for a gimbal.

Amazing value - worked with Samsung S9+
The build and feel of the hohem gimbal stabilizer is really nice. My Samsung S9+ fit pretty tightly to the gimbal and I had to remove the phone case. I didn't even calibrate the unit and it seemed to have center balanced my S9+ very well. One small thing I noticed was that when I physically made turns while walking, the gimbal would take significant time (3-5 seconds) to catch up and re-center the view. To me, I don't mind this, but to a perfectionist, they may not like this lag to re-center after making a turn. Maybe there is a way to adjust this. I literally just popped my phone to the unit and started recording. I didn't even read the manual. For under $100, this gimbal is a tremendous value. I highly recommend this!
